I’m not a huge Jaimes fan, but I thought he was our best lineman. But it’s time for Corcoran or Banks to step up.

Four of five starters on the line will be underclassmen.

The OL is going to be the strength of the team for at least the next 4 years and thats not a bad place to start. they got so many some of them are going to be very disappointed when they figure out their college career will be ending before the starters eligibility is up. NEB signed a whole bunch of OLs in the last couple classes so several of them will be lifetime backups who own the pedigree to be starters

Was supposed to be a strength this year
well i kind of agree on that. never really figured out why it wasn't a strength. But if they can't make a whole bunch of 4-star OLs and a bunch of high 3-star OLs into something pretty damn good then they can't turn anything into something good. they might surprise me but i will guess NEB wont have this many top OL recruits on the roster at the same time in a long time. some of these kids who will be bench warmers could have gone somewhere else and been starters. thats how much they liked NEB. Now lets see how much they like sitting on the bench because they can't all play

Well the positive is that Corcoran gets a start under his belt which will help him for next year and for this off season. Trial by fire.

3 of 4 are 4 star recruits

Tine to play like it sooner or later.
Starting lineup Friday

4 of 5 OL are 4*
4* Top 100 QB
4* RB
two or three 4* WR

8 of 11 are 4* (edit: if they started Martin, they could be at 9!! 4* on the field)
Some are young, but still- what more can we ask for?
Go score some damn points against Rutgers.

(approx five 4* starting on defense)

He'll have them doing bear crawls while he munches on bear claws. Perhaps Krispy Kreme could be a sponsor?

You realize 3 were SR all year. If the backups were great wouldn’t they have played more? You saw Cam and Fin play??? Bernhardt gets abused with speed rushers. It’s definitely not a strength

Stupid comment.

You should just finally accept that you need to go full Costanza. Do the opposite, go chicken salad on rye Oldjar . . . do the opposite of your instinct, and you'll be right, for the first time. Every instinct that you have is wrong, so the opposite must be right. It's almost unbelievable how consistently and completely wrong you are. It's like a bodily function for you.

You realize guys like Benhart (not Bernhardt... not sure who that is) are freshmen that can improve??? I get that you are pissed off. But guys like Benhart will get better.

Yep! Don’t care if he resembles Jabba the Hutt. The man knows how to coach.

He has been out of coaching for 5 years and has one year as an offensive line coach. He’s been consistently mediocre except for a year or two that he hit the jackpot. No thanks.

He did manage to make Kansas a winner which is no easy feat as many have tried and failed. Not saying he should be the guy, but Mangino would be an upgrade over who we have coaching line currently.

Ed Warinner is the man behind that Kansas Oline. Currently Oline coach at Michigan

He made KU a winner because of his QB. Not his O line. He had a QB who was very accurate and could run circles around defenses....

Mangino was ahead of the curve with the spread passing game. There were a few years there were no one had answers for it.

You are correct. Todd Reesing was a really good QB for Kansas. But I still stand by my comment that even Mangina would be an upgrade over our current line coach.

The line was supposed to be a strength this year and it is the weakest link on the team.
