There is not going to be a lot of combine invites for a class that is going to be well under .500 in their careers.

It happens a lot. Suh and Prince really increase their draft stock by coming back and have great Sr seasons. In Suh’s case that was his 5th year and in Prince’s case it was his 4th.

If the kids who graduated come back do they have to be enrolled like a grad transfer? Or do they just have to worry about going to practice? Can party and play video games in the spare time? Do they get all things paid for still?

In order to play college football, you must be a student, whether an undergraduate or graduate, at the university where you are playing football.

I know that some of them redshirted, but in the last four years they are 17-27 with no bowls. They can all go. Time for some new blood. Because whatever most of those Seniors have accomplished, has certainly not translated to wins.

I agree with you in the cases of Suh and Prince. Unfortunately, I do not see any players on the current roster in the same class as Suh and Prince. Winking

I feel like Dismuke has played a lot better this year. That hit he made to force a FG and give us a chance vs Iowa was impressive.

I'm aware of that but we've never seen a free covid year - I saw some posts that made it seem like next year was different

1. CTB (I know he's a Jr)
2. Domann - led the team in tackles, tfl, and good coverage skills for an olb
3. Culp - 13/15 on FG this year

No one else matters to me.

STille - I'd love to have him come back. He played some good football and is stout this year
Falck - He was ok and would give us some depth. Need to find a QB who can actually get our guys the ball
Stoll - Eh... Whatever. He's ok, but no overly impressed
Jaimes - I bet he tries to go pro, but would like him back
Farniok - GTFO!
Gaylord - Eh... See ya
Wilson - GTFO!
Culp - Pretty sure he is back and we need him
Colin Miller - Not sure if he plays again, but would be fine having him move on
Mills - Would like to see him stay
JoJo - Need him to stay, but fear he is gone.
Dismuke - 50-50 on. He hasn't done poor, but just isn't dynamic
Williams - Would like to see stay. I think he has some upside
Bootle - Stay, we need all the DB's we can get
Honas - Would like to see him stay. Has looked a lot better this year.

I think Jaimes is the only guy we'll miss other than JoJo if he leaves. JMO. That's pretty telling if you ask me.

I'm not blaming youth and never really have. I'm the one who has pointed out time and time again that 7 of the guys wearing blackshirts are seniors. On the offense we're a lot younger but the whole approach is on Scott on that side of the ball.

I think D. Williams and Jaimes will take their shot at the draft. I think JoJo is probably 50/50. I could see Miller and Wilson, plus maybe Farniok hanging it up. I think everyone else will most likely be back. Thoughts?

These players are not loser's, they bled and sweat for Nebraska, maybe not the results they wanted, but trust me they are not losers, I despise when people are called losers, when I know they gave everything they had to try to be successful.

Okay I didn't think you were, but there are a lot of people who do blame youth for all of our problems. You think they'd want to take back every senior we could.

I feel bad that they've gotten ****** coaching their entire time here and weren't able to get better. How many young players do we have coming in who are playing lights out and taking the older guys' spots because I'm not seeing that either.

Part of the reason you don't see that is the roster mismanagement at the end of Bo and through Riley. Look at our D-Line. Outside of Stille, very young this year because there is no real in between. Now guys like Rogers, Robinson and all others are playing and doing a pretty damn good job. Last year had 3 pros and this line has been better.
