Been hearing we should be able to run the ball. Thinking over 200 yards rushing. Will we see the option more today?
Besides Batman which other starters will out for today’s game will be something to keep our eyes on when they take the field..
I was waiting for something like that! Ha!I’m hearing PJ Fleck got approved by the B1G to line the Gopher jerseys with kryptonite so Superman has opted out.
From what im reading....its gonna be 32 degrees at the start....with wind chill making it feel like 20 degrees.....so both teams might have to keep it on the ground on Offense and stack the box on defense
I tend to agree but Minnesota's run defense is, by far, the worst in the conference so the Huskers will probably only need to complete a few key 3rd down passes to keep drives alive. The Gophers are going to ride Ibrihim and try to win the TOP by a wide margin. Gophers have been hit hard by Covid, several players expected to miss the game today. Nebraska by 14-17 unless they fumble away the game.I will go out on a limb and say whoever can throw the ball best today will win.
Did you say option?Been hearing we should be able to run the ball. Thinking over 200 yards rushing. Will we see the option more today?
I better not see anyone in hoodies at warmups....just kiddingFrom what im reading....its gonna be 32 degrees at the start....with wind chill making it feel like 20 degrees.....so both teams might have to keep it on the ground on Offense and stack the box on defense
I recall that’s how bill Snyder built his teams confidence was by scheduling cupcakes in the non conference, like TO would say when your building a team you win the games your supposed to get your players confidence then as you grow then you start aiming for the bigger boys, he even made the comment that he couldn’t understand why teams like Missouri or Iowa st would put all there eggs in one basket and aim for Nebraska, that’s all they did and yes occasionally they’d beat us most of the time they didn’t then they’d fall apart the rest of the seasonKinda sucks but I’m not even excited. Here are the potential outcomes of the game:
1. We blow out a bad team that’s made even worse by missing half their players. This will lead to false confidence for the program heading into our final game or into the off-season in case there is no final game.
The positives that come from this outcome are that we can try to convince recruits that we don’t suck and we should keep the sellout streak at least through 2021.
2. We win a close game against an undermanned team that was already pathetic with a full roster. The biggest homers will try to convince us that this was an important step for the program.
3. We lose. I’d say this is unlikely, but anyone who thinks it isn’t possible is off their rocker and is one of the homers to whom I refer in outcomes 1-2.
How do you say that? They won their last time out.The Gophers quit before the season started, it is really hard to restart after you have already given up.
Any type of good start by the Huskers or bad start by the Gophers and this game will be over.
I doubt it. I bet it will be like Purdue. Where PJ talked all week about all the guys that would be missing and then all the starters played and they won and it was all because of the miracle working HC.Does anyone know if Minnesota will be missing any two deep players due to Covid besides the receiver that opted out

Sure did. I think there’s a difference between being upset at the state of the program and criticizing people for asking questions on a discussion board.Didn't you just post in another thread about someone else being a grump?
