These look like pretty even teams thus far.
Nebraska beat the brakes off Creighton just two years ago. But other than that outlier, I hear you.First time in several years the second half might be worth watching.
isnt creighton missing 2 players due to injury? i thought thats what they said during the KU gameNebraska beat the brakes off Creighton just two years ago. But other than that outlier, I hear you.
His foot was clearly on the line there
The 2 weak links in our rotation right now are clearly Yvan and Thor. You swap out those 2 for Bryce and a quality big and I think we can get a tourney bid next yearHow many free looks from 3 is our defense going to give teams?
Nebraska tries to prove year after year that you don't need a true big to win. And year after year we're wrong.
Aleks MaricYeah .. when is the last time we had a true big?

We dont have the horses. We need to send Thor and Yvan packing and get a big fish in the transfer market. I like the little nucleus of Teddy Trey Shamiel Kobe and Delano. Lat is only a spot up shooter and a liability everywere else. Eduardo and Derrick are still question marks. Bryce will be an instant starter and Wilhelm appears much more polished than Yvan. I dont think Tominaga is a B1G player. But as far as I'm concerned we arent gonna sniff the top 10 in our own conference for the next 2 years. We need to get another 2 or 3 big time transfersThis is getting painful. So much promise this team has. At times you say this is it. Hoiberg is doing it. But you can see the holes in this year's team. I'm sure it won't be hard for Fred to recruit his way forward. Bryce is coming. Who isn't going to want to play for Fred.
I was really impressed with the effort in the first half. This second half, something changed.
keep in mind that Creighton is a top 15 team (ranked 8, but lost to KU)
Last years team was creightons bestRegardless of finish, we looked a lot better than we did last year, a lot more athletic. With the addition of the other McGowan's kid and some continued good recruiting will get there. This is possibly the best team Creighton's ever had possibly!
Expect the Huskers to lay the wood to the Jays this weekend. You heard it here. No inside game .for Crayton. Couldn’t handle the KU bigs.
They have struggled with 3 point shooting thoughSame thing as last game: wide open 3's for the other team. Lack of defensive coherence.
Nebraska should be doing what Creighton does by penetrating and quickly dishing to the corner for the open three. Instead they spin and cup the ball and try to maneuver through 2-3 defenders for a contested shot near the basket. This results in turnovers and horrible shots and frustrated teammates. Some of these guys need to get the memo that this isn't high school or JUCO basketball anymore.
Oh. I just replied in that thread. That is the only trash I will talk. That post is a moron. (Attack the post, not the poster)Sooner or Later, someone's gonna post it:
This team would be unreal if Tyshon would have came backLast years team was creightons best
we just don’t belong on the same floor as teams like this
I feel like it takes this team so much effort to score. So many cuts, picks, rolls, to get an open shot and on defense we stand around and give our opponents easy wide open shots.Same thing as last game: wide open 3's for the other team. Lack of defensive coherence.
