1. Big Ten
Total income: $310 million
Bowl games: $40 million
NCAA tournaments: $20 million
Television revenue: $250 million

The Big Ten Network, which is 49% owned by the conference, has become a veritable cash cow. Though the Big Ten only receives half of the network's revenues, the upcoming additions of Maryland and Rutgers could inject as much as $100 million into the conference annually.

You make this comment right here and I know for sure that you’re a douche.

Does not matter.

My point holds true. The Nebraska brand is more valuable because of the Big Ten. To say that being allowed to join this great conference was anything but a home run for Nebraska is uneducated.

You seem a little behind the times. Maryland and Rutgers are not upcoming additions. They have been in the conf since 2014. What year is it where you live?

I don't see a penny of any of that cash...so whatevs. Other peoples money doesn't really excite me to much....basically what i'm sayin is, I preferred it when we had less cash and a better team.

See, the thing is though that your facts are already not going to get through when you start with such a douchey remark. It’s just bad form.

Cash is how you Keep score. Brands are built from money. Not wins.

If it's so valuable they should have better leadership so the Big 10 doesn't look like a joke during this entire cluster **** of a season. NU and OSU caught hell in the beginning and were right all along.

Are you arguing against yourself?

Is someone up here claiming the BIG isn't generating money?

If so, could you link those posts?

That's one of the BIG reasons they brought in Nebraska. Also why Nebraska gets all 11 o'clock am games....viewers and tv sets. big MVP.

But since big is socialism, can't let Nebraska succeed. Spread the wealth equally

Definitely a wealthy conference. But they are not the best sports conference (especially football). Most over rated football conference ever.
