You know it just hit me tonight a few days after that LSU-Alabama game that Nick Saban is a pretty decent fellow. I think the LSU program should all be sending him Christmas cards this year for not dropping 80 points on them last Saturday. Reminded me of some of Tom's games where the backups got in early and got some good work in. Pelini and LSU were definitely in danger of adding a few more records to the ledger there.

I got a cousin who seriously gets personally offended when I talk about how poor of a coach Pelini has turned out to be.
Its so weird. I could talk about a lot of coaches from Nebraska's recent history that unfortunately just have not been able to perform well and it doesn't hit nerves. But you talk about Pelini even after the hindsight anyone should have now concerning his abilities and KABOOOOOOOM!

no. Never had DC skills. Never. He got blown out a few times when he worked for Frank and gave up HUGE points and yards MULTIPLE times that MNC year at LSU. I won't even mention Wisconsin.....
Bo is the most “controversial” figure in Husker Board history. 2 years ago I started a thread on “Why Bo failed at Nebraska” and it went to a 17 page tirade of Bolievers against non-Bolievers. 17 pages!! It was glorious.
sometimes one can find humor in complete tragedy, when bo did one of his last coaches shows, under the bleachers, with the sprinklers in the foreground. and our announcer kinda reminded me of mean jean interviewing the missing link. thats who bo reminded me of, the missing link.
