Would any other program be in CFP consideration given their resume? Six wins and four against teams under .500! Signature wins against Indiana at home and Northwestern.

I remember a team back in 2001 that had similar cache that played for the whole ball of wax without even playing for their conference championship...let alone not winning it...so the answer is yes. When you have the cache magical things seem to happen.

with michigan and penn state sucking so bad i dont think OSU could earn a playoff spot in a normal year. the B10 is a complete mess this year. Maybe that could be said for college fb overall outside of the big 4 blue bloods

Nebraska would with that resume. Iowa wouldn't. I know its not fair but that's the way the world works.

Just my opinion but the loser of the game is out..The ACC CCG is a elimination game..
Clemson would be out with a second loss. If ND loses in a competitive game I think their in. ND would have to be blown out, say 3-4 touchdowns, to be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. Clemson beat Texas A&M 24-10. Keep the loss within 14 and ND is in.
