We should learn a lot about this NU team this week. If they can best GaTech and at least avoid the annual route against Creighton, it will feel like NU is making progress.

GT is a weird team. They beat Kentucky 17, but lost to Mercer and Georgia State.

Not only lost to Mercer and Georgia State... they got whooped by both of them. Very odd turnaround against UK. If it weren't for that game I feel like we'd be favored by at least 5 points tonight.

I'm glad GT beat Kentucky or we'd be in big danger of walking into a trap. Hopefully they have our attention. I watched the Kentucky game highlights and clearly GT has some dudes.

What surprised me is that North Dakota State almost beat Kansas and Creighton.
They didn’t almost beat Creighton. NDSU was ahead 10-4. Creighton went on a 16-2 run and never lead by less than double digits the rest of the way. Creighton was up 19 in the 2nd half and wby 11.

Nebraska should beat GT. Then it gets rough. Win 1 of the 5 after GT and that is decent. Win 2 and Fred will have outdone himself.

In conference if you break the schedule into 4 chunks of 5 games each you are hoping NU wins 1-2 games in each window. The bottom of that would be four conference wins. Anything less is a disappointment. The top of that is 8 wins, which honestly would be a huge season. I’ll predict 5 wins but will not be shocked at 3 or 7. Should be fun.
