Huskers can take comfort in knowing they didn’t have the BIG’s ugliest win of the week. Yikes.
His third pick, which led to Illinois' winning field goal, wasn't his fault. The ball hit the receiver right in the hands and bounced off into the arms of the defensive player.
You might want to watch that play again. The throw was way behind the receiver, and the only way he even got one hand on the ball was to stop and dive backwards for it.

They don't show the replay from the end zone camera, which had an even better view of the throw. A circus acrobat would have had no chance to catch that ball.

I don’t have anything against him for leaving, because he wasn’t likely to play much for NU. But after today Schiano is going to have him on a short leash.
