That is stellar. Is Cook about to hand off the program in a year or two? His protégé is a dang good coach I think.

Tyler Hildebrand. He was instrumental in their last title. Left for a couple of years to coach USA National Beach Volleyball, and is back.

Truly the flagship program at the University of Nebraska.

What is amazing to me is that in-state players not deemed good enough to get Husker offers are going to great programs like USC and Arizona State, plus numerous other DI and DII schools. Very impressive

It's absolutely a great recruiting class. I wonder how many will stick it out to play as seniors though with all this rampant transfer craziness these days.

It is impossible to prove, of course, but this has to be a contender for the best recruiting class, in any sport, ever. Nebraska basically signed the junior national team. Expectations are going to be sky-high for this group. They join a roster that was already loaded with talent.

I'm thrilled they were able to recruit so well. BUT in ANY sport these days I temper recruiting enthusiasm with the realism that recruits are prone to transferring at the drop of a hat. So we'll need to see who actually sticks it out.

Creighton also pulled a top 5 class. This truly is a volleyball state
Who on this board cares? I’m asking a serious question. Why bring up Creighton on a Neb board? Were you a UNL grad that enjoyed the FB Nattys and then moved to Omaha? Cheered for Neb in the Fall while cheering for the Jays during the b-ball season? Are you? I know a ton of them here in the Big O. Ridiculous. Go to the Jays board and if they don’t have one...maybe The Big East board. I care more about the doogie that I just picked up in my yard (bad dog) than I do about Creighton. And this is...by name and brand...a Neb board.

That is now where near the same for volleyball. Do you want to play in front of 8k fans every game or 80? So few programs offer sold out arena game after game. I don't see how any player, unless they aren't getting PT, would want to transfer from Nebraska.

Tried to watch the red white game. Could never get it to connect from huskers.com. Sucks. Probably a lot of people watching. Sucked for me

I have zero ties to either school. I’m born and raised in Omaha, with the exception of college. I went to Northwest Missouri St. my point was that our state is an elite volleyball state. And yes, Nebraska is still king (or would it be queen?) in this regard.

and If you are saying I can’t mention non husker items on a husker board, what the hell with all the political **** that we have seen
