Listen dude, I'm not your buddy. We're down. We'll figure it out. The world is watching because they want to see us return to greatness. You have never experienced greatness so nationally, you are an afterthought and always will be. You're a version of Illinois, Purdue, and Indiana. Bunch of nobodies.
Again, your team has lost at least 4 games per season for the last 16 seasons.
No one cares about your program but your fan base. Lol

Hurts to lose 5 in a row, eh? The world isn't watching you, and they don't care, btw. The ones who are watching, are laughing at you.

yep, that was it....hahaaaaaaaaa where was the 'freak' the last play of the half?????? taking a selfie in the locker room??
Not in the game because he got four total snaps all game and no targets. Like I said, we have our walk on Wr's in the game.

Let the athletes play. They will make plenty of mistakes, but they will grow a lot faster than 4 or 5 plays a game and running routes with just shells on during practice.

Look what happens when you play your scholarship players. You move the ball. Let them make plays. Betts, Flemming. I don't care if they make a few mistakes. I am sick of walk-ons
It's unreal. Is he taking some hard-*** approach to try to teach the more talented to care as much as the less talented in practice or in school (or maybe some of the talented guys really don't know the plays that well), but we've to get the dudes on the field, period. At least the best athletes can cover up some of your mistakes as a coach.

Right now you aspire to get to 5 wins a year in recent times buddy. You are caught up in fantasy-- you are another who expects glory to come back and it's not. Sorry. Ultimately people like you will figure that out. 20 years of being beaten over the head with this reality hasn't been a good enough teacher-- but that's OK, college fans everywhere love sitting back and watching the constant frustration many of you show.

THIS is exactly what is wrong with Nebraska football fans. You are comparing yourself with Alabama like all it would take is the right coach. Alabama plays in the best conference, is located in a recruiting hotbed region and has national appeal...Nebraska has none of those. Come to grips with who you are and it will make your lives much easier.
And when Alabama hired Saban those roles were reversed. Seems our obsessed little brother is the one that needs to come to grips with reality.

Urban Meyer is not going to Nebraska or to any college program-- only USC has a slight chance at that. So get that thought out of your mind now.

You want stability and winning in your program yet you're on your 4th HC in the past 15 years. Right there is your problem. This reckless mindset is why you haven't been able to do better than get people like Callahan, Pelini, Riley, and now Frost as your HC. The much better coaches have been scared off because of expectations that are simply unrealistic among your fan base. Get pissy all you want, but it's reality. Change, change, change, change is NEVER a recipe for success-- whether college football or the corporate world. So before calling someone else a dumb ***, don't be one yourself.

WTF does an Iowa fan know about a recipe for success?

So, what does that make Nebraska?????? A version of Central Michigan, UNI, North Dakota State? Indiana is in the top 10, where is Nebraska?

Probably more than a Debby fan!
Don’t know what a Debbie fan is. But I’ve witnessed Nebraska win at the highest level. Iowa doesn’t even have outright conference titles. And they currently get Bo Pelini light results, plus a ****-ton of racism. Sorry not exactly the “recipe for success”, anyone is looking for. But that’s probably who you spend your time here, obsessing over Nebraska.

Alabama hired Saban in 2007

Neb was in year 4 of Callahan

the roles weren’t reversed. It had been almost a decade since Neb had resembled anything close to present day Alabama at the time Saban was hired

Urban probably isn't going to coach anywhere else given his health issues. But if he does (with patience), he'll have choice opportunities including Notre Dame (his dream job), Texas, and USC.

Nebraska fans are completely delusional thinking that the job in Lincoln today approaches those legendary programs. Particularly since Urban would then be facing Ohio State. That's just not going to happen.

Best to hang with Scott Frost and give him time to work through his issues. He's clearly a cultural fit and with time the bet here is he will be a solid winner in Lincoln.

We all know Urban is never coming here. Most of those comments are made in sarcastic ways. Don't be that stupid. Frost is here for a minimum of 5 years no matter what message board warriors think.

For what it's worth, I fully expect you guys to beat Iowa this year.

1) 2020 is just a weird year.
2) Iowa doesn't look as sharp, MSU game was good but they're also a very bad team.
3) While not identical, your team resembles a mid 2000's McCarney/Chizik ISU team in my opinion. Short on talent, undisciplined play, poor coaching, but an ungodly desire to beat Iowa. The type of team that knows the season is going to suck, so might as well play all out for one game for bragging rights.

Good luck from here on out, and don't rub it in too hard when/if you guys pull out the win against my Hawks.

I was not happy after last week's game but have cooled off. I think Frost will eventually succeed. He's not afraid to make changes. I think the kids are still playing hard and are positive. I think he has the right mindset&goals. I am willing to give him time. I still see the direction of the program as up even though we are not seeing wins yet. And like the previous poster just suggested who are you going to get to replace him? Rather roll with Frost to get some continuity, develop players and rebuild some of the facilities and then see where we are at.
