Looks like he won't play tomorrow. Anyone know why? One of the best players in CFB, hop everything is OK.

Injury. No Purdue players have covid. Just several staff members. Well, several are out for Saturday. As I mentioned elsewhere, hurts rondales draft stock more than purdues passing attack. Still sad to not see him and Bell play together.

Do America a favor on Saturday.

Is he out for the year? If he is just out for this one game, it won't hurt his draft stock, but it will hurt Purdue, big time.

Won’t hurt the passing attack? You guys need to be more focused on a RUN GAME, not a passing attack. Purdue ranked dead last in rushing last year in the BIG 10. Purdue averaged 83.3 yards per game last season. That’s just pathetic and it makes it impossible to win games that way. Even more so when your defense won’t be very good on top of that. Like Purdue’s Rival expert said, Purdue has to find a rushing attack if they want to have a success season and hes right.

Just this game it seems. I don't think it is a huge loss though. Purdue has lots of talent at WR, not to his level obviously, but good enough. Purdue passing attack was pretty dang good last year. Just need a QB to get them the ball.

He is. Rushing attack got better as the year went on and actually wasn't bad by the end of the year. Early season stats hurt the average. Biggest issue with that was starting a true freshman RB who has admitted the game was to fast for him last year, and three underclassmen. I'm not saying the running game will be good, but I think it will be good enough to keep Purdue in that race with Nebraska, Iowa, NW, and minny for the #2 spot. I think all those teams are pretty close.

from what I just read, they can’t even rule out that it’s not the COVID virus at the moment. No one (outside the player and coaching staff) knows right now. What’s the point of opting back in if he’s already hurt and missing games right out of the gates? I mean really? And you better hope it’s an injury and not the COVID virus, if so he’s out for 21 days...

“There is no word on what the situation was that is forcing Moore out of this contest at this time. There were rumors earlier this week regarding an injury that Rondale had sustained, but nothing was confirmed. It is also not out of the question that he possibly tested positive for Covid-19 along with the Boilermaker’s fearless leader coach Jeff Brohm.”

It wouldn’t be because he took money from an agent when he opted out and then had to pay it back and is waiting to be cleared by the NCAA?

Purdue rivals writer just said he was a game time decision, but they made it today. On top of that, Brohm literally said yesterday there were 5-6 players that probably wouldn't play because of injuries. So yes, I am pretty confident.

Now the several coaches, thats covid. But it didn't get to the players.

It's been reported rondale is expected to play week 2 by multiple sources.

I must apologize as I misspoke. The athletic director said on Wednesday that no players had tested positive since they started daily testing. The coaches issue was the weekend before that was said. Moore also tweeked a hammy at the start of practicing. Probably extra cautious with that.

I am curious about a lot of the players who opted out, and later opted back in. I'm sure they thought they wanted to play, but a lot may be having second thoughts after thinking about it. Do they really want to be there? I think you'll see a lot opting back out once they see someone else get hurt, they have a couple of losses, etc.

Explain to me how Iowa sucks please
well, when an entity attempts to do something for 100ish years (in this case, win a title) and fails to it, they suck.

pretty simple, even for inbred, slackjawed iowa fans. at least I'd hope.

frankly, there's not even an argument that iowa doesn't suck. it's black/white. something you know plenty about. loser.

please please please come back with your racist claimed title. dare you. hahahahahaha!

Purdue stills wins
I don't see it. Iowa has some skill people on offense and while Baby Farentz isn't exactly a tactical genius, Bobby D is on the other sideline, so advantage Iowa there. Purdue really needs to be able to score points, against a solid defense and that just got harder.

iowa longs for the good ol' days of 1958, when blacks weren't allowed and they could claim they were the best team in the country.

some things never change 😂 😂 😂 😂 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Even after this offseason they had, they catch breaks right out of the gate.

This was the second brake for them, the other was having to not play in Columbus this year and the conference taking our first game away from us and giving it to Ioway..

Well I have to give it to him, he’s at least on a Husker board where he belongs. He’s not on a Rival teams board obsessing....so there is that.

And Iowa will always suck, at least until they start winning the BIG 10 titles and making playoff runs. Averaging 7-8 wins per season over the last 2 decades isn’t exactly “GOOD”.

Brohm offenses have put up 850 yards passing in three years. Rondale has 31 of those 850.

I know Diaco wasn't good at Nebraska, but based on on his other stops, asking for a top 75 D isn't asking for to much and would be an improvement from last year. Having a strong Dline should help id think. Interested to see what the Boilers look like. Should be a close one! We made it to football!

I live in Nebraska, but close enough to Iowa to know about them. So I know way to much about the teams. Haha especially Nebraska. Fun to keep up!

ignore that one, hell look back up at it. Your name wasn’t supposed to be in there. Pure Accident.

You are to focused on what us Husker fans are doing and saying. Give it a couple minutes and you’d seen I had it edited and fixed. And I wouldn’t say fun to keep up as much as I’d say your obsessing over the Huskers. Kind of bad when your not a Husker fan.

I obsess over big ten football. Not just the huskers. Kind of have to know it pretty well to talk shade out here though. Lol

I don't want to be that guy thay says scoreboard when people start talking Purdue vs Nebraska and Scott vs Brohm. I do think it has the makings of a pretty good game each year once they both get their programs righted.

We will see. Your one of the few non Husker fans that live on this Husker board that haven’t ignored, so I’ll give you a chance.

My biggest suggestion for you is this, come visit and talk football. But STOP pushing your views of Purdue on us. None of us will agree with it and we definitely won’t look at Purdue like you do. Purdue has been regressing the last 3 years not progressing, going from 7-6 to 6-7 to 4-8. So naturally, we won’t agree with your views on Purdue being something special or close to turning the corner. You guys got ways to go...

Being fair with you, maybe you’re not meaning to (and you don’t always push) and you just got high hopes for your team (which I can’t fault you for). I’m just trying to help you have a better experience on our boards.
