All summer talk radio here in Omaha was talking about how Nebraska was going to win the west. Caller after caller not only proclaimed Nebraska as big 10 W. champions but they called for a breakout year for frost. Now days before the start of the season most now say huskers will fight for a 500 season. Without the cupcakes scheduled it’s going to be tough sledding for the huskers. Nebraska still has the best recruitirankings out of all the teams in the west yet they don’t ever seem to be able to pull together a good season.

Exact same schedule except switch one team. Quit crying! So there should be no more than a one game win loss difference schedules are basically mirrored Nebraska gets Ohio state and Iowa gets Michigan State. Otherwise identical!

Frost gets a lot of cover because people think the conference schedule is difficult

if you take away the Ohio state and Michigan crossover games Frost is 6-11 against power 5 teams - a winning percentage of 0.35

Heck take away the Wisconsin games too, and the record is still just 6-9

1) I live in Omana and neither Benning or Severe predicted to win the West..Wisconsin was the team everyone was leaning toward.

2) The break out year talk is about the offense with the majority of the offensive line coming back and the most depth we have had there in a decade and depth at running back and QB nothing more nothin less.

3) Don’t say the schedule is the same exact schedule except for one game.. Ioway doesn’t start out playing Ohio St, Wisconsin NW and Penn St.. The difference between playing Ohio St compared to Michigan St is a also a huge difference from having a W on your schedule or a L on it..

4) And Ioway avoids playing tOSU again which was on the original schedule...
