Wish they would bring back the ones we wore at NW in 2015. Think it was that year? Best looking alternates I can remember.

I prefer not wearing all white uniforms.. Would love to see all red ones including chrome red helmets..

Nothing wrong with a Red helmet and a white strip and traditional N on the sides...
OU wears white helmets on occasions, no reason why Nebraska can’t wear red helmets on occasions..
I disagree.. it's like having alternate identities.. I think the team should just focus on being Nebraska without red helmets and chrome this and that and whatever other flashy thing some fans want. I've never been a fan of alternates. But I understand not everyone agrees.
Changing the helmet to the opposite of what we have isn’t that big of a deal once in a while..Just another opinion to wear but I do understand your point on alternate’s
Hopefully he shelves them for the season... I understand honoring a tradition, but all he is accomplishing is embarrassing the unit as a whole. AFTER they are able to stop offenses on a consistent basis, then bring them out. Till then, do something funky like a fancy "N" on the helmet and call it art.
I don’t consider those in 2009 alternate uniforms those were our uniforms during that time...
I might add Bill Jennings last year Nebraska went from wearing red helmets with a white strip to white helmets with no strip and had black numbers on the sides..
First actual alternate uniforms was in 2012 with Black helmets and red jersey with stripes and big black “N“ on the chest with red pants and 2 black strips..
I like the throwbacks. I wish Nebraska would rock the throwback names since they have so many. They could be the Bugeaters one year, the Rattlesnake Boys another, The Mankilling Mastadons the next... I think that would be cool, new mascot and everything.
I'm cool with 1 true throwback and 1 alternate uniform game per year. Just so the alternates are kick *** like 2016.
Would really like to see chrome red helmets. Louisville uniform at Notre Dame was a classy alternate for Nebraska.
A idea I had was going with a red chrome or Metallic helmet ( is there a difference) would be having cream jerseys with red numbers and cream pants instead of the pure white jersey and pants we normally wear..
What I’m suggesting is that throwbacks would be impossible if uniforms never change.
