Just read that Parsons is definitely not coming back to PSU this year. Our game with them just got a lot easier. The young man is a beast.

Did you see Bateman is coming back to Minnesota? It was in his best interest and PJ totally supported him leaving, when he thought they weren’t playing. Now that they are, things have suddenly changed. You know Captain Rowboat changed his tune and begged the kid to come back.

What the hell does that even mean? You didn’t know he signed with an agent? Or it is OK
to sign with an agent, as long as you don’t have pictures of cash on social media?

No doubt about it, even though he had an agent he will be allowed to play. And, honestly, given the circumstances, I don’t have a huge issue with it. Although I don’t have a clue what that Creighton/Iowa “reporter” guy is getting at, as usual.
And man what a hypocrite that PJ Fleck is. Tried to hop on his high horse about supporting the kid opting out, when he assumed we wouldn’t play. Now he is scrambling and begging the kid to play. Such a phony.

The Parsons situation shows how bad the B1G screwed up. Parsons opted out because they said the season was postponed until at least January. Now they change their mind but it's too late!

But it’s not too late. Even Bateman from Minnesota is playing, and this after he signed with an agent. Parsons could play if he wanted, he just doesn’t want to I guess, or he’s genuinely concerned about Covid.
If I'm not mistaking, Parsons opted out prior to when the B10 came out with their glorified conference only schedule. I don't think Parsons ever really considered playing this year.
In your quote, you stated that PJ supported his decision when they thought they weren't playing. He actually supported his decision when they were still going to play, which is when Bateman made his original announcement.
PJ didn't think they would play and didn't want to. Remember everyone involved supported not playing it was "30 for 30". Now, how do you explain the sudden change? Oh, now that we are actually having a season, it is now in his best interest to play.
PJ is such a con man.
