We've talked to Sean and he said that due to today's landscape and how Covid/Sports/Politics are all intertwined, we are going to allow leeway when it comes to politics. We are going back to a similar deal when covid first started. We are ok with discussing politics as it pertains to sports, Husker athletics, covid, etc. Please do not use this to turn the free board into a political free for all board. If that happens, we will not allow this to continue. If you want to talk politics that bad, join the Open Scrolls.

Another thing, threats, name calling, inciting violence, etc will be dealt with swiftly and will end up with a vacation from the board. If you can't keep it civil, we will go back to no politics at all and get rid of anyone that doesn't want to comply.

We are sympathetic to what is going on and that is why we will be opening it up a little bit. Please keep it civil and respect that we are doing this and don't ruin it for others.

Thank you.

smart move. It's generating a lot of clicks at a time when there's not Husker sports news otherwise.

Doing my best to follow the spirit and letter of the law. I do find it hard to divorce some of the decisions made in sports apart from politics which is super frustrating. For example will Michigan's Governor stand in the way of Michigan and Michigan State playing football for obvious reasons? We shall see

Wouldn't surprise me, and it would be political suicide.

In all fairness, she is the true world power seeker. Won’t be happy until the world is hers.

Ha. Just saw it. What a hypocrite.
laws and rules are not meant for some people in power. No doubt had her botox redone as well. I repeat "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others". Man we need some people to read that book right now.

I fellow Nebraskan who lives here in DFW made a curious comment at church on Sunday. He noted that most of the states that the BIG are in are northern states. Most are liberal with democratic governors and in blue states, may be a reason why most of the presidents from those areas squashed our season.

Also, I did tweet to President Trump that he would "insist" that the BIG play this year. And lo and behold, he calls Warren today. He gets things done....there is no doubt about it.

Thank you.
So why was the Trump tweet locked. It was more about sports than politics. Although I'll admit I didn't read every response. Thanks.

AND thank you MODS and Sean. I think his post was pretty clear the other night that everything is intertwined now

It was locked before we decided to open things up. I’ll unlock it.
