This would have to improve greatly to reach cluster status.

That parody video showing all the conferences talking to each other nailed this situation "You should have cancelled with us when you had the chance"....like a conference loses that chance if they don't rush to decide immediately.
Games on campus in December with mostly terrible weather conditions is just another bad idea regardless if there are no students on campus..
Why do we talk out both sides of our mouth about this? They postpone the season and they're a bunch of sissy ivory tower non-jock University Presidents who never played the game, hate freedom, and would cry if they got tackled. But they want to play in the winter and we go "YOU CAN'T DO THAT! IT'LL BE COOOOOOOOOOLD ON THEIR TOESIES!!!!!!! IT MIGHT BE SNOWY ON THE INTERSTATE!!!"

Looking worse and worse by the day. Hopefully the lawsuit moves forward and the judge doesn't just say "well they moved the season back and have a start date now so the motion is moot". Unfortunately, thats most likely the case.
The article I read was if they started 2 week in January they would play in Domes.. Thanksgiving weekend in the domes with NFL games would be questionable..
Without fans, there is no reason games couldn't be played in the Dakota Dome or UNI dome.
But the reality is that a domed stadium can easily house games on Saturday and Sunday. Hell Cowboy Stadium hosts all of the Texas State high school games from a Wednesday to Saturday, 3 games each day and then could have the Cowboys play on Sunday
Surely it's impossible, Tuco. What are we to believe, that there are stadiums and arenas that routinely accommodate rapid turnarounds between events like basketball, hockey, circuses, and concerts that use totally different surfaces for their needs?
Sure they can alter Wrigley Field to play football in it, but leave the football turf in place so that more than one team a week could play on it? Crazy talk.

What? Of course it was before the pandemic. What does that have to do with anything. Teams would show up, play, crew would disinfect the locker rooms if the stadium was needed for a Sunday games.
I don't recall any actual domes being mentioned. However, if the powers that be decided against sharing a domed stadium with an NFL team, then there are other domed stadiums in the footprint that could be used. Point being seating capacity would not be a factor if no fans are allowed.
Domed stadiums that were mentioned..Minneapolis, Detroit, Indianapolis, St Louis and the Carrier Dome in Syracuse..
So I revert back to the original point, games could easily be played on Saturday and Sunday, or even Friday, Saturday and Sunday if need be.
Look for ways to make it happen, not for excuses for why it can't
