I have thought about this a few times and I have wondered what the rest of my fellow Husker fans on this message board thought. If we ended up signing these prospects below, would you be satisfied with our 2021 class of OLinemen? It’s not entirely star studded (outside Teddy Prochazka), but it is a solid class and talent.

Next years 2022 class has potential itself lead by potential Husker DeShawn Woods a Top 100 OT. But adding these 4-5 Olinemen along with the 2020 and 2019 class Olinemen is a solid group to build on. GBR.

It looks fine. I have a hard time getting into recruiting for the 2021 class and especially 2022 class until I am confident that there will be a season in 2020. IF 2020 is cancelled or amended, the future of college sports is going to be in doubt. I won't derail your thread any further. Just saying I am having a hard time looking past this fall, until this fall actually happens.

In observance of our most deeply honored traditions...let me be the first to ask..."are we only taking 4, and only one of them is a 4 star?"

Verbal shots already been taken at Dabo, and Wilson is leading a walkout at FSU over coaches lies about George Floyd communication with the team. Bama has more than a 2 deep on quarantine on just the initial handful of cases. Going to be an interesting year.

No clue on that one my man, maybe we take 4 and maybe we take 5....only the coaches have that answer. And yes, ones a Top 60 player while the other 2 are 5.7 3 star players, which is a borderline 4 star.

My guess is Teddy Prochazka and Yager are both OT recruits for us while Lutovsky and Mbow are OG recruits. Outside those 4, I don’t know who else we are after for the Oline, if any one else for the 2021 class.

It is interesting that outside of Teddy, they seem to be going away from the long lean body types they signed in that first class, especially Fritzsche and Anderson. Not sure if it's anything worth reading into, but seems like a different profile.

I am curious if that is a trend/shift in mentality or just how it worked out. I know they were desperate for length in the first couple classes.

Frankly, I’m just happy to have tackle bodies on the roster after what seemed like 8 years of only having two or three guys that had any business being on the outside.

My post above was some snark about some folks on the board probably many no longer here from a few years ago who were never happy with the numbers or quality.

My thoughts mirror the other folks above...I'm excited by who we do have.

That said we can be honest that Nebraska is not exactly picking and choosing on the recruiting trail. There might be at least some element of "these were guys we liked who would say yes to the dress" but maybe aren't necessarily our ideal body type.

But again I'm super happy with them and believe as the other poster does it's a development position.

There is definitely some truth to not picking and choosing, but I’m just happy that we’re finally getting guys over 6’4 to play tackle.

I love the way we have been recruiting the last 2 classes and the current 2021 class when it comes to our Oline.

2019 Oline class
Bryce Benhart, Jimmy Fritzsche, Matthew Anderson, Brant Banks and Michael Lynn (sucks Desmond Bland didn’t qualify)

2020 Oline class
Turner Corcoran and Alex Conn

2021 Oline class
Teddy Prochazka, Henry Lutovsky and Branson Yager. (With Marcus Mbow as a legit possibility).

Not a bad group of Olinemen at all. GBR

VanDeMark is a 21 recruit, not 22

The Huskers would be wise to take a long look at Trevor Brown from Waverly. 6' 2", smart, runs a 4.8, benches 315 as a soph. Great wrestler. I think he would be a fantastic center with his smarts & speed.

I think Lutovsky is the real deal as a tackle. Big, strong kid. I think he's a legit 6' 6". Watching this dunk video he put on Twitter. Looks like a monster right tackle to me. Forget this interior line talk.
