Needed some good news! Know absolutely nothing about him but if his other offers were commitable he must have something going for him, explosive is always a good descriptor for a receiver.

Interesting tactic to tell the kid he was the number two target in the class. I assume they meant overall with Fidone being the top dog, but that's an interesting technique nonetheless.

I read it as top two on the WR board.

Impressive film. Kid reminds me of every WR to play for Art Briles at Baylor....

... hopefully with better character.

But seriously, Baylor had a non stop collection of 6'2 to 6'4 wideouts who constantly stretched the perimeter.

They really did seem to have an endless line of those.

This is a nice pickup.

Talk about a roller coaster day...we need these tall WRs, so this is huge for us. Getting Hardy along with Betts and Manning, that will definitely help some. GBR

Please sign him. 6'3" WR who is a 4.0 engineering student. Sign him up. I think I remember an engineering student who was a former soccer player. That guy worked out alright.

Glad to be adding more quality players. Sounds like a darn good pickup. Get him signed and on the field.

We really need our QB [whoever's that may be] to be on point and get the ball to our playmakers. Too many missed opportunities last season.

Some of that lies on the WR's feet as well. They need to be in the right place in their route. If bad snaps weren't enough to screw with a QB's mind, having WRs run inaccurate routes doesn't help either. A couple of yards too deep or shallow can bring defenders in to play that shouldn't be there. Granted AM made plenty of bad decisions too. IMO, one of Martinez's biggest problems after the bad snaps was being able to trust his WRs. His freshman year Stanley was very dependable in his route running and ability to get open. Wandale was great that way too when he was healthy. Some of the other guys not so much. It's one of the reasons he liked to go to Warner so much. The guy is precise in his routes and always is where he's supposed to be.

Good developmental prospect. Big kid, his Dad is a coach— maybe that makes him more likely to stay 4 or 5 years.
