Welcome Daniel.

Who is the transfer Wr that was mentioned? Or at least the candidates?

Under the circumstances, I like this offer. I know some may question the use of a scholarship (the last scholarship punter didn’t work out so well), but we desperately need kicking help, and his stats sound pretty good..

Punter, shmunter yada, yada, yada. What inquiring minds want to know is who is the transfer wide receiver that a scholarship is being held for???

Yep, I like it. We can’t win the close games with our kicking game continuing to suck. Hoping that transfer wide receiver is Clester’s other boy. I criticized him pretty harshly for the interview but I’d be happy to take it back if Cade wants N.

Losing the field position battle week after week after week didn't get a lot of press last season, but it was a big problem nonetheless. Hopefully help is on the way.

Hopefully he is as talented and tough as that former Australian Rules football player that punted for the Chargers back in the day. Dude was a beast. Did had a cannon of a leg and was tougher than some of the linebackers on that team. I remember one punt, he took a high snap and some dude came charging in to tackle him. Dude just dropped his shoulder into the would be tackler and laid him out before calmly taking a step and letting the punt go. His name was Darren Bennett.

I truly hope he has a great career and goes down as one of the best punters in Nebraska Football history. However, I hope he doesn’t see the field often “unless” he also earns the kickoff specialist job!! Winking

I gotta say, he doesn’t look like a punter... if the opponent gets past the front line, I believe this kid could make the TD saving tackle...

Cade Johnson, there is a little bit of something going around about him. At SDSU he went for:

67 rc 1332 yards and 17 TDs
72 rc for 1222 yard and 7 TDs

if this is the WR we are after and trying to get...definitely sign him up. GBR

Those are impressive stats.
We failed to offer, his brother just committed to Iowa and his dad takes a lot of heat from the fanbase. Not sure I see it happening, but it’d be a solid pickup to help a depleted room.

Finally! Other schools have been getting a ton of help from Australian punters while our kicking game has been struggling. Not sure how good this guy will be but it's not a bad idea to make connections for Australian punters. Some of the best in the game come from Down Under.

Stupid Frost admitting defeat before it even happens again. If his offense works we shouldn't need a punter. Winking
