Anyone ever remember what happened with this young man? He had some decent skills to him coming out of High School but for the life of me I can’t remember what happened once he got here?

Thing is, Paul Verhoeven is an amazing director. He made Robocop, Total Recall, Basic Instinct, this, and Starship Troopers before going back to Holland. Since then, he's made even better movies.

Also, he had the balls to show up to the Golden Razzie awards and accept his Worst Director award in person.

Not being from the US, maybe he didn’t know what the Golden Razzie awards are for, lol.

He was doomed to fail from the beginning. Scorsese couldn't have saved that trainwreck.
