He does not like lifting weights.....

He does not want to go to the NFL.....

He’s not a hard worker.....

He does not love football......

He is a prima donna......

Along with Bollers, he is not being seriously recruited by Iowa.....

he wouldn’t fit into the “we may not win championships, but at least our team is clean (allegedly)” culture at Iowa.

He may be all of that, but it doesn't seem like Iowa has backed off of him. They have said that because of their physicality and weight program, that it isn't for everyone. Also, they don't treat anyone like a prima donna, so you may be onto something. They don't seem to care what everyone else thinks, only what their mantra is.

Where did you see this? Iowa is recruiting him as their number one TE.

There was an Iowa troll, or two, that lived over here, not long ago. They told us, Fidone was afraid of the competition at Iowa. It seemed suspect to me, since the kid had visits to Penn State, Michigan and ND set up, but who am I to question their wisdom..

Not even debatable. Although Miami has been very successful developing TE’s, those two are clearly a step above the rest. No offense to Michigan and Penn State, of course.

Considering this is everything that Frost is trying to eradicate from the program, I find it very hard to believe. Im going to assume Frost and Co vet these recruits much better than the average joe blow Iowa fan.
Usually this is the type of garbage Iowa fans start spewing out about recruits when they realize Iowa doesn't have a chance at getting them.

They do that because iowa has to do more offers. Iowa fan hates offers.

Bingo. These were the nonsense excuses Iowa fans were giving for Fidone leaving the state. If he decides to stay home, they will do a 180.

The Herky’s think that if he came to Lincoln he’d be wasted talent and block half the downs on swing faces to the sidelines..

Since Iowa has made a name for it self lately having success with TE being drafted highly in the NFL they think he would be a fool to play in Frost’s wide open spread offense..

And if he wants to play in the NFL it won’t happen in Lincoln.
