What's the rumor?
Oh no rumor, sorry! Just my thought.

JC guys are usually JC guys for a reason that is bigger than JUST grades...He might just be sick of it, not in a bad way but he might just want to leave and see what is out there.

It sounds like Mack was suspended before the hit and run accident even took place. Maybe they bundled this alleged crime with whatever else he did before that into some sort of "value deal", a two for one! That way he could still play at Minnesota.

The hit and run happened Wednesday around the noon hour. How early did team leave for Michigan? I would expect Wednesday evening at earliest

There were hints in the Wednesday AM press conference that a lineup change was going to be made and that was before the alleged crime took place. But a suspension wasn't announced until after the hit and run. So that's why they may have been able to just add the hit and run to whatever else Mack did wrong, and discipline it all with one game. Thus he can now play at Minnesota. Just speculation, but needless to say there have been a few guys pushing the boundaries and its reflected in the team won-loss record as well as the number of suspensions.

I know this is a throw-away season at the beginning of a total rebuild, but man it is getting hard to watch.

Pretty amazing that a Big 10 program can end two seasons in a row with barely being able to field a team.

I've read strong references to the reason being something that rhymes with weed.

This season can't end soon enough. Only guarantee to come back in my eyes is Yvan. Other guys that could come back are arop, Green, Thor and Cross. And all of those have different reasons why they could leave too.

I'm ready for this to be over

It really is offensive.

I would guess thor, arop, cross best chance. Burke and Mack look done. Green I would guess done but who knows. Bring on the transfers

Marcus Z probably blew his knee at the end of the game. If he’s out, they are one and done in the Big East and the NCAA.

You mean that conference in which Creighton was doomed to be a bottom feeder as soon as [pick any one of 10 players] isn't playing anymore? That Big East?

Fred needs to send Mack packing. Fourth disciplinary action already against him.

Doesn't sound like it's too serious, but you can always hope! There are college teams that I really, really dislike, yet I've never found myself rooting for one of their top players to tear an ACL. But you know, to each their own.

OMAHA WH: Greg McDermott on Marcus Zegarowski's right leg injury: "We’ll have it checked out on Monday. The early thoughts are that it’s nothing terribly serious. But any injury to your leg or knee area this time of year is cause for concern (because you don't have much recovery time)"

Well hear about Burke and mack tomorrow. Not sure I feel confident in them making the trip

Burke is done. Will graduate so can either grad transfer or go play overseas. Opens up another scholarship. I would expect at least 1-2 more to come open after Wednesday.

Keep the faith, man.

My young kids ask how many games are left. I told them 1. What if they win? Well, they would play one more. What if they win that one? Don't worry about things that won't happen. Yeah, but what if they do? They keep playing until they lose. So they could win the championship? ...........yes. Would that be a record? Yes, for worst team to ever win the championship.
