MSU’s Keenum moving forward with Athletics Director search

Mississippi State University President Mark E. Keenum is beginning a national search for a new Athletics Director at MSU after receiving notification from AD John Cohen that he is departing MSU effective immediately.

There's more to this story than we know. Nobody does this "effective immediately" even to a regular employer, much less your alma mater. I'm buying more into he was either pushed out directly, or was getting goals set for him that he didn't appreciate.
