Looks like this guy is visiting this weekend. I had not heard of the guy until the other day. It looks like he doesn't have a ranking yet and his only offers are from Nebraska and San Diego State.

I looked at his HUDL highlights and they are impressive. I know nothing about this level of competition or anything like that, but his athleticism and hitting are impressive.

He was defensive player of the year in his conference this year.

His coached raved about him. Said that he’s the greatest JUCO defender he’s ever coached. The kid went from 165lb to 225lb in over a year. Sounds like a late bloomer with a high ceiling.

agreed bro, he definitely has some solid film on him. Sing him up. I’d have to assume he’d pick us over S.D. State...lol.

I like this dude’s film a lot.

He’s fast, has a motor, attacks, relentless, uses his hands...

That's the best LB film I've seen since Mason Wald ghosted Pelini for the Maine Bears.

Bust seriously... I like his name.

I thought about Mason Wald when I watched it too.Did he end up at Maine? I I was thinking somewhere like Samford. Can’t get too caught up in highlights, for sure. Remember Blake Lawrence HS highlights? Murdering people.

Ya, Wald went back to Alabama to attend Samford

Blake Laerence was coming along at NU pretty well until some serious concussion issues forced him out of football

Botmann was the one that ended up at Maine. Huskers cut him loose late after offering. I saw bodtmann play in high school and could not believe the Huskers had offered him. He was small and not a P5 talent. I remember because I was living near Scranton PA at that time

San Diego State is a pretty nice place to play football too. Bagmen and jobs for Momma?

Ummm I don’t know about that. His concussion problem didn’t help but he wasn’t good and was undersized. Believe dat

Looks like we are starting to get some crystal balls for this young man. Steve Wiltfong picking the Huskers being one of them. I’m more then fine with adding him. Sign him up. Him and Kaden Johnson would be a great addition to OLB.

I do not remember it this way at all. He was a gamer for us. May not have been the most talented, but he made plays...

I'm trying to figure out why only San Diego State, UAB, and us have offered. He is extremely quick coming off the edge, and has very quick feet in general.

And you're right, he hits with aggression. The ball carrier is stopped in his tracks. I can't imagine him being ranked lower than a 5.6 based on his film. And to think I was sort of poo pooing him based on his offers. Now I get it.

I'm guessing because of his size. Based on this picture of him standing next to Ruud, who is 6'2/240, Mauga can't be more than 6'0/210. He's going to need to hit the weight room hard this offseason.
