Learning to be a head coach. It might pay off, it might not. I honestly don’t know. Regardless, we can’t fire him.

Things I like about him: His optimism and vision of building a culture. Passion for Nebraska. Understands the people.

Things I don’t like: Questionable play calling. Stubbornness. Rhetoric seems a bit green sometimes.

Should have won moron

No excuses, play like a champion

You might be right but you still sound like a little **** on here crying and moaning like you are. You more than likely are one in real life and not just on the boards but come on man, at least try to have a little stoicism.

I still believe in Frost. We are 5-7. That is a slight improvement over last year, and none of the wins were over an FCS opponent. All 5 were against FBS opponents. We were right there with games to win against Colorado, Indiana, Purdue and Iowa and frankly we played Wisconsin tough. We still post those games and they hurt and frankly we should not have lost any of the first four mentioned.

That said, SF has some serious growth that is needed as a head coach. I personally am ready to get off the coaching carousel and am willing to give him the time he needs to grow into this role. But he is going to have some very difficult decisions to make about his staff and some of his players, specifically Chins and AM. I’m willing to give both the benefit of the doubt again next year, but there needs to be a bigger step forward in 2020 than the one taken in 2019.

You "Husker fans" are absolutely PATHETIC! Why don't you go hit your wife and kids a few more times. You might not come off like a bunch of Dbags to the rest of us. Better days ahead, just relax and enjoy the ride. We WILL get there! GBR!

And you come off like someone who has experience hitting a wife and kids if that's your response to posts you don't like. Bizarre.

frost is learning, that NU football is more about running the ball, and that we are not oregon or a florida school. slowly I think he's getting that. frost wanting to be pass happy at NU after running the ball in his career at NU as a player...reminds me of solich deciding crouch was his I-back at NU after solich spent all them years developing excellent I-backs....maybe it a searching for something different?

but I believe there was a reason frost ran the option at NU and the I-backs used to carry most of the running load..because Dr.Tom had it dialed in on what works best at NU. something solich and frost grapple with.

.

there was no progress over last year- that is pure nonsense
we beat S alabama rather than losing to Troy

2018 - we lost to one of the worst teams in the PAC 12
2019 - ditto - + they had a first year head coach

2018 - 3 big ten wins - 5th place in division
2019 - 3 big ten wins - 6th in division

2018 - 4 conf home games -- top 3 divisional games on the road -
2019 -5 conf home games -- 2 of 3 top divisional opponents at home

2018 - we play OSU- Mich-MSU -- 2 of 3 on road
2019 - we play OSU - Indiana - Maryand - 2 of 3 at home

no better record in conference - lower finish in division - easier schedule
if anything there was regression within the conference

and we threw another 10 million dollars into the pot

Lol it's not that I don't like their posts, it's that it absolutely brings nothing positive to the problem or solution. If you continue to wallow on negativity, then nothing will get better. I tend to live on the positive side. By all means continue to live your life in a negative fashion and let 18-22 year old kids ruin your life. It has to extremely exhausting bitching this much online to complete strangers, focus that effort on something more productive, i.e. beating their wife and kids, because let's face it Husker football can't make some of you this miserable.

For Frost’s very own psyche ( & ours), I sincerely hope he comes out of his funk and succeeds building us back up. If not, we’ll, we’re back 20 f*#%ing years, I’ll be dead!
GBR!

If he’s not a power 5 head coach what is Ferentz? Shouldn’t vaunted Iowa blow us out?
Ferentz is a guy who has beat Frost every year they have played and Nebraska 5 times in a row. His is not a great P5 coach, just better than the latest couple Nebraska has thrown their way.

I hear ya partner. For me, priority #1 would be for HCSF to highly reduce those worthless horizontal passes. I've been seeing them all year and don't recall any success with that. Maybe I've forgot a couple of them that worked well but even if so we're talking about about a success ratio of those plays at about 5% or so.

That's a LOT of downs that we just keep throwing away. Maybe there's a good reason to keep doing that but it's over my head why we use it frequently.

Ferentz, is not a good coach? Lol. You’re an idiot. Nebraska recruits higher than Iowa every year and still gets their asses kicked by Kirk and he actually coaches athletes up.

Parcells just said he’s the best coach in college and does more with less than anyone. Nebraska will never be great again. All the analysts on ESPN agreed that no great players want to live in Nebraska for four to five years and your high school football sucks. You can only hope to get the best athletes you can and develop them like Iowa does and hope to compete every couple of years. Time to wake up and stop thinking you’re a blue blood. Those days are over. Good luck, your fans are good people and deserve to at least compete.

I am beginning to doubt Frost. Now I find out he hid in a closet while an innocent women got beat up? Wtf. How is this not in the news and did Moos not investigate this? Apparently it’s true. I am not sure he can survive this in 2019. People say things in 1975 and get fired for it now. Ugh. Great.

You guys can be the "stoic" Husker fans who somehow embrace failure as a means for some moral high ground or lesson for all of us Internet Tough Guys to just hang in there, it will all be better soon!

I mean, at least sit Martinez, at a minimum.

Frost is the kind of person that believes his own BS to the point of being the exact same Internet Tough guy in real life. I was dead wrong about the guy, he comes off as arrogant and his gameday decision-making sucks. Recruiting is sub-par which is a clear sign of kids that don't believe him either. I just don't see him being a real leader because he doesn't exude real leadership skills. Bunch of hype.
