My biggest concern is that we’re probably going to be so beat up after this game that we’re not going to have much left against Maryland and Iowa.

No different then after the Minnesota and OSU game. I think the Buckeyes will have done more damage then Wisconsin can or will to be honest. OSU is the one team that’s better at running the ball then Wisconsin and they have every bit as good or better of a defense.
almost like he did against Iowa huh? Taylor ran for 31 car for 250 plus yards on Iowa. They had no answer for him and Wisconsin’s Oline.

We are just a bad team. Of course there are concerns. This team knows how to lose. We may have been the only team in the nation that could figure out how to lose to Colorado and Purdue after the gifts they gave us.
Wisconsin is a 9-10 game winning team. Barring a miracle don’t get your hopes up. You have to win more plays than you lose. We can only do that for maybe a Q or 2 before we start losing way more plays than we win.

The biggest concern on the field is our LB’s. Wisconsin will take advantage of them in the running game and the passing game. Their offensive strengths against our biggest defensive weakness. The other concern is mentally. Can the defense play with fire for four quarters, with Wisconsin running it right at them again and again.
More quitting is probably the biggest concern.

what you are going to see is the equivalent of what the old husker teams used to do....tell people we're going the run the ball right at them, and then proceed to do it play after play. You're going to see the backs of husker jerseys getting knocked on their asses.
My thoughts also. I can see no way we can stop Taylor or their or their other back who is also pretty good. Wisky may not pass the entire game. Taylor right, Taylor left, repeat.
That does seem more likely than not, but I think a comprehensive review is coming and there will be changes on that side of the ball. Scheme, staff, DC....something has to be done.

Wisconsin averages only 63 offensive plays per game. If they're efficient against us, we may not get beat up much at all. Plus, if our offense lays it on the ground or throws some pick-sixes, our defense gets to rest even more. Wisconsin may need only 50 plays to get to 40 points and coast from there, leaving us fresh to give Maryland all they can handle.
To predict that we get beat up assumes that we put up resistance. I wouldn't count on that.

I saw the line at Wisconsin -13.5 early today. At -14.5 now. I’m surprised it’s set that low. I’m really afraid Wisconsin is going to win by 4 or 5 TDS.

Can’t see us coming within 21 even if game is slowed down with running. I’d honestly be surprised if we score one touchdown. Wisc is top 5 in defense in numerous categories and our qb is vey hesitant and ineffective, the O line below average.
