Don't get your hopes up too much for this basketball season. IMO this is going to be a rough transition year. We're really small. I'll be very surprised if we get to .500.

Tonight was rough. But, Hoiberg is a proven head coach at the NCAA level. I guess you could say this game is starting from rock bottom. I'm thinking it will be fun to watch the evolution of this team as the season goes on.

For anyone who watched the opening night scrimmage, easy to see we do not have much for shooters. I’ll be impressed if we get much better through chemistry. We had open looks and it looked good when we ran up the pace but it seemed like we slowed down. This year looks rough but I don’t mind the scheme. Gotta recruit shooters.

This looked like Nebrasketball on steroids. Poor shooting, can’t hit free throws and our opponent shot lights out from three. I don’t believe in curses but this program is cursed.

Shot 29.1% from the floor, 23.1% from 3 and 47.4% from the free throw line. That’s beyond bad. You would almost have to try to shoot that bad. Could be a really, really rough year this year.

I watched a long highlight reel of last night's game and saw a lot of good things. Shots weren't dropping for us... they were dropping for them. Hopefully it was just a really bad night of shooting. We will see!
