Is it time for the streak to end?

My guess is that the Athletic Dept will hold onto the streak as long as possible. It is honestly one of the last selling points this program really has.
Breaking that streak really doesn't help anything. Moos and Frost don't need to be pressured into anything right now. They know what's at stake. Just not sure they know how to fix it, other than keep trying and be patient.
Yes. I'm always going to be a fan, but I can't be bothered to keep doing the season ticket thing every year. I almost quit during Riley. Don't get me wrong, the streak has actually been dead for a long time. Tickets are bought up in lots when they aren't all sold. Shrug. We still pack the stands whether or not every last single but is in there.
I'm not stopping my season tickets just cause I am pissed, more along the lines of it is a lot of effort. The seats are small and cramped. The facilities mainly suck. It really isn't all that much of an experience. Just a big hassle all in all. Have to plan my weekends around it. It is getting old. Big screen TV, all the games on, etc.

The streak is a bigger fraud than Frost. I was at a game in MR last year and 20% of the seats were open. Big biz will buy up the tics and not use them to leave this fake news streak intact.

After hearing how you were going to win the big this year and possibly make the CFP all summer I like to stop by and see the latest talk. It's like a train wreck sure I could pass right by but damn something always makes me stop!!
If the streak ends then it’s time for 75000 wide bodied chair backs throughout. That would solve the problem of fatasses taking up too much room.
It will hold the first few games next year. If we struggle again it will end next year.

And, it’s no different on the Iowa board during the offseason and after each loss. I remember how Brian Ferentz had the offense going in the right direction according to every Iowa fan.
OMG, you Iowa fans are idiots. I will scream this for you. NOBODY IS CLAIMING AN ATTENDANCE STREAK. NEVER HAVE NEVER WILL. IT IS A SELLOUT STREAK. AS IN EVERY TICKET IS SOLD. Doesn't matter how the tickets are bought or sold, every single ticket is sold. Hence sellout streak. It really is not that complicated to understand.
It's yet another thing that doesn't concern you or any other fan base. Take it back to Iowa, be sure to spend all your money in Omaha before you go.....and take a Casey's and a HyVee with you.
Next year will be more of the same, after the spring game all that will be heard is Adrian for Heisman and outside chance of making the playoffs. Then bitching and griping as the losses mount.
I wont be going to any more games for at least a couple of years. Im done spending my time and good money on a piss poor product.
Says the Omaha guy who spends his paycheck at the casinos. But hey thanks for the new roads, artwork, school upgrades for Southwest Iowa!
The only reason Nebraska doesn't have casinos is that every time there is a proposal to allow them, Harrah's and Ameristar create fake, blue-haired grassroots organizations that warn everyone about casinos turning the whole state into Council Bluffs.
It's tremendously effective.
Im from southwest Iowa born and raised. That money is definitely not spent as positive as you try to say it is. Good try though
I’m going to have to agree with this statement 100%. I see no way this ends anytime soon. As long as businesses will keep supporting the show that you’re putting on the field you might as well keep it intact. Even though 20% of the stadium is empty it’s still a sell out!
