Likely, scary, shocking stat given today's outcome

After this season, we lose our entire starting DL. These are -- from what I have seen -- our best three players on defense. Some will say Lamar, whatever, he is gone too. There is nothing to indicate we will be better defensively next season unless the incoming guys are absolute beasts ready to contribute from day one.

The schedule next year is not friendly.

Our pass rush with those three was good enough to win today. They moved the pocket. They picked off a shovel pass and brought it back to the 3 yard line. They knocked the starting QB out of the game.

Might work if we had Von Miller at OLB and Brian Urlacher at MLB that can run with receivers

I'm not all that impressed with our DL, they are big but don't seem to be very agile. None of our D seems very good at the moment. I don't know who is being developed to replace the starting DL, but I hope there is some kind of upgrade. That pick and run was great, but of course we then failed to score from the 3 due to poor decisions etc. We're just hapless on both sides of the ball.

Both lines are carrying ALOT of bad weight, somehow the strength staff equated not getting pushed around by adding weight...but hey, we get to see the strength coach self promote with wardaddyup during the off-season
