We turned it over in the series against OSU and went 3 and out when we tried it against NW.
Football coaches are stubborn, but I’m not sure that is the reason we haven’t seen the I more.We moved it down the field against OSU.
Do you disagree that football coaches are stubborn?
Are you really suggesting that he went away from something ‘that works’ is because he doesn’t want others to say “I told you so”?Why has Frost gone completely from that sequence of plays with AM under center on the OSU?
My opinion is he doesn't want anybody to tell him how to run his offense. He's stubborn. Like 95% of the football coaches in the USA.

When this team is losing people come up with the craziest ****. Its borderline laughable, lose 2 games you should win and we need to fire everyone. The only people with a legitimate discussion are those centered around the defense. ...... also Jeffery Epstein was murdered. Are you really suggesting that he went away from something ‘that works’ is because he doesn’t want others to say “I told you so”?
He would sacrifice wins for pride? Wow...

Trying to understand your rationale here... why did he take practice time to run it in the first place if it went against his offense to begin with? It wasn’t a trick play one and done... it was an entire series. If he so against it that he won’t run it now, why did he run it in the first place? That's part of it in my opinion. Plus it would put himself out his comfort zone of running HIS offense. He paint himself into a corner he never should have.
FWIW, I never imagined I would be so hard on him. I liked him as a QB for Nebraska and did NOT blame him for the '96 loss to Arizona State.
But I guarantee he will never win the Big 10 West with this spread offense.

If he’s too stubborn to run it now, why install it at all?
Just think about it for a second… Scott Frost is ultra competitive and absolutely hates to lose. He HATES to lose! But you think that because he’s stubborn he’s willing to take the loss rather than run the I formation?Great question.

We put up 500 yards with our 2nd and 3rd string qbs, but yes, let's ***** about the offense.
God damnit guys...he freakin guaranteed it. Now what do we do with our time? That's part of it in my opinion. Plus it would put himself out his comfort zone of running HIS offense. He paint himself into a corner he never should have.

If what you are saying is true then Frost needs to be fired now. If he is willing to lose games out of spite, he’s not the coach for us.Stubborn and wrong. For example, it is obvious on almost every swing pass, the DBs and LBs can get there by the time the pass arrives. Even middle level Big 10 teams.
You are angry and full of hate because YOU were delusional in what to expect. Frost took over a broken program. There are a lot of similarities in how much Nebraska was broken as how badly Wisconsin was broken when Barry A. took over at Wisconsin.
The I-Formation will NEVER be a staple of Scott Frost's offense. Never, ever, never. What you will see in the coming years is more option game out of the shot gun but until we have offensive lineman at all 5 spots that can pull it isn't going to bee seen that often.
Frost is about developing an offense that is positionless at the skill spots and once he has the horses to run it, it will be a thing of beauty.

I think you are flat wrong. Yes, he may be stubborn, but if he is going to have I formation packages in this offense, he’s not going to shelve it because of his stubbornness.
Maybe he only practiced it with AM to take pressure off of him having to make a decision. Just turn and hand off the ball. We haven’t seen the I formation since AM went down. Who knows? But that’s more likely to be the case than ‘He’s stubborn’, in my opinion.
What does this even mean? What does it have to do with my post?HCSF has game film. And a pen.
You can NOT change your whole offense in the middle of the season. Running a few plays is fine. He put it on video so other teams are prepared now to defend it. Guarantee it. Weren't you the one worried about our QBs getting injured? Put them in the old Osborne option offense and you'll get them killed with this O line. That's part of it in my opinion. umm, stats don't mean crap unless you are looking at points for vs points against...and we fail in that area way too much vs lesser opponents - face facts cub

31 pts with your 2nd and 3rd string qbs should be enough pts to beat indiana at home. The offensive system, which basically every team in cfb is running a version of, is not the problem here and acting like it is is delusional.
For the millionth time, I don't want any option running. I want them to recruit big QBs who can throw deep and with accuracy. And I want a smash mouth running game that keeps defenses honest for our passing game.
Thanks for clarifying. I feel like, given time and experience in the B1G he will mood his offense accordingly. I think he.’op use the I formation moving forward, but never as his base offense. But he will adjust to what works against B1G defenses as he continues to figure out how to crack them.Game film shows what is not working. Having a pen to make some changes in scheme.
Half of the nfl has gone away from what you are describing, even though they have the best talent to run your type of offense. Why do you think that is?
13 points against NW and 10(?) against Ohio State is not a problem?
I have not seen Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes run your type of offense, Why do you think that is?

Sounds like you had better go root for Ferentz. That's a pro style offense. For the millionth time, I don't want any option running. I want them to recruit big QBs who can throw deep and with accuracy. And I want a smash mouth running game that keeps defenses honest for our passing game.
You cant be serious with this post. Edit mahomes to manning or something for ****s sake.
