Very proud of this team. We are winning games and I don’t feel quite as embarrassed to be a fan. Still though, will we ever be great again? Will we ever beat Wisconsin? What about Iowa?

I wouldn't base all of your meaning as a man on the nebraska cornhuskers. We won't ever have such a committed group of young men lead Nebraska football to a dynasty as we had in the 90s. The culture is different. Teams and programs are less important as separate entities but are instead viewed as a springboard for kids to reach the NFL. We had multiple players stay for their senior years and miss a year of million dollar payouts to give coach Tom a final national title. We live in an era where the player has more leverage, where the program has less, and where the players do not even follow the sport they play. Throw in the confusion with pay to play and we are likely seeing the beginning of the end for big time amateur sports. College football is a shell of its former self from 20 years ago. The quality of media, the quality of game presentations, and even the quality of the game has degenerated. Every year fewer kids play football and the sport slowly drifts away from the physical, hyper competitive battle that it used to be..as a consequence the few talents left will all drift towards schools that can get them out in three years and make them the most money. We haven't had parity for 10 years and the prospect of it increasing are minimal.

Well Troll, Iowa lol Not even going to answer that. Thats like asking if we will ever beat NW again. As far as a good team, Wisconsin yes we will beat them and probably pretty regularly .

im going to say this, Iowa might, MIGHT beat us this year. But next year when Iowa loses Nate Stanley, their (lets be real here, your) two outstanding Tackles and AJ Epenesa to the NFL and a few others....Iowa is going to be in trouble for a few years and that’s where our (not you, your an obvious Husker obsessed Iowa troll) Huskers will beat Iowa on a constant basis. Frost will have his guys playing by then and our best players won’t be freshmen and sophomores. Enjoy this year, it maybe Iowa’s last decent run for a while. Maybe sometime in the next decade/s Iowa will get lucky enough to get a few decent players out of those low 3 star players and field a solid team and go 7-5 or 8-4 again. ;)

Never mind that...I was just very surprised to hear that Kirk Ferentz took Paul Chryst as a lover when they both lived in the Bay area in the summer of '79. Oh they may act like they don't care for each other in interviews, but they still carry the torch for each other.

This post makes me cringe, like nails on a chalkboard...

But it’s sooo good! Well done!

Stay in character. Signs of trolls include low post count, new account, cheesy screen name affiliated with Huskers or Frost, and a stupid leading question...

Another sure sign is when you break character when someone says they will beat another team with regularity. Your troll game sucks, quite frankly.

well he’s right. Sure, maybe we won’t beat them this year but I’m confident that once Frost has his players hitting juniors and seniors and all systems hitting on all cylinders, we will beat Wisconsin on a regular basis. Probably be more of a back and forth battle more then anything. Iowa on the other hand will be left in the dust....believe that.

Wisconsin and Iowa should not be in the same sentence in the West. It’s Wisconsin...big drop...then the bulk of the remainder. And yes, Nebraska is nowhere close to the program Wisconsin is.

Agree, when I said regularly I didn't mean most of the time like we will with little brother. I meant more regularly than now. I agree I see us and Wisc being a back and forth type series. However we should be able to pull in more talent than them. So I do see it swinging in our favor more often than not.

I just feel that our fan base gets a little carried away sometimes. It’s kind of funny. We haven’t been relevant in the big ten since joining

Hey, you had a good year in 2015, before getting your doors blown off by McCaffrey and Co. Chuckle thinking of him blowing by your defenders like they were standing still. Man you guys looked slooooow that day.

What makes this so fun is that when these fake goober accounts stop in, we can endlessly insult their team, and they can't say a word to defend said team.

Man that Brian Ferentz has man boobs that clank around worse than Frank Costanza's...bro.

More importantly, will your uncle daddy and aunt mommy ever reproduce again? Let’s hope not!
