It was great! Saw the Ohio State comeback game on the other day with T-Mart, Burkhead, Ameer and Aaron Green all in the backfield at once. I mean, that was cool.
funny how getting your most explosive players on the field at the same time would have positive results...

regarding Beck... he was a good OC when he would get into a play calling rhythm. He very often outsmarted himself, however. We almost lost to McNeese State because he refused to feed Abdullah. Ohio State lost to Michigan State because he refused to feed Ezekiel Elliot

Did Pelini play for Tressel? Ohio State was a power run team back then so it’s natural he’d want to also be run heavy. Beck was limited by what he had. TMart didn’t have the mechanics to make a passing game consistent. And he paid the price with his body which made QB runs unreliable. TA was the best of the bunch in my opinion of providing a balanced attack. He took over some games.

Pelini played at Ohio State more than 10 years before Tressel arrived. He played at the end of the Earl Bruce era and then for John Cooper.

Ahh nice. I don’t know much about the state college of Columbus aside from their boring old school offense. Thought there was some background for those two prior to Youngstown.

Bradley is a waste, and Mazour should play special teams. Only reason people like him is he is a kid from Nebraska.

Mills, Washington, Wan'Dale, Rahmir, Thompkins (depending on knee), Jones will probably all get carries before Mazour. The kid works hard, but there are way better athletes ahead of him.

Rahmir will be just fine. Did Mo Washington and Adrian need to get caught up last year? They were fine. Rahmir has way better speed and fits this O great.
Rahmir is a freshman and from the clips I saw of him, it doesn't look like he runs real decisive yet. Thompkins is wearing a green jersey and will likely redshirt this year. Mazour is a senior who earned a scholarship last year, and has proven to be reliable every time he's touched the ball. Why is it so crazy to think a guy like that will get some playing time? If it were me, I know the guy I'd be putting in ahead of a true freshman.

I don't have a strong opinion on Mazour one way or the other, but half of his career carries and 3/4 of his yards came against Bethune-Cookman. Just about every Husker who touched the ball in that game looked like a star.

to be honest, I'm not sure the RB room is all that after Mills and Washington. Now if they can bring in Scott III, I will feel better. (I see Wandale as a receiver)
