Saw the Headline that we’re adding another Transfer.

Looks like Zach Schlager may be joining team as a Transfer from CSU. I remember Schlager had an impressive SPARQ score of 100.59 back in 2017 but was only offered a Walk-On spot. (Garrett Snodgass was 89.16 at the same event) Don’t know if he’ll be on scholarship or not. Does anybody know?

Dang that's following your heart. Giving up a full ride in a beautiful town like Ft. Collins blows my mind. I wouldn't have done that unless he can't stand one of his coaches or has issues with teammates. Good for him if that's what he wants, but on the surface it isn't very logical.

He's an OLB, which is a great addition to a position of need. And good for him! I agree, giving up a scholarship would be tough, but if he's a Nebraska guy, walking on is still cheap. Plus, its a good sign! It means our program is moving back to being one where kids line up to play for us!

Per the CSU website: Played in three games and was able to take a redshirt season because of new NCAA rules.

I'm guessing money isn't an issue for his family. Fort Collins is beautiful, but college football players don't exactly have a lot of free time to go hiking or skiing. If he wants to play major college football, this is his best opportunity.

Thanks, Steele had him 4th string so that was a little concerning.
