Boom! He's a dipshit, but he's gettin paid, so it's all good.
I think Husker fans get a little upset when it comes to Nate. He did screw the team over, but he is getting paid to do what he does best. If your kid dropped out of college and was getting paid a few million to play video games or do literally anything they like, would you have a problem with that? I would have a much bigger problem if my kid was a Masters degree genius in Eastern Philosophy and they made $22,000 a year doing what they loved but still lived in my basement. #realtalk

Financial security is nice. Dignity and respect is better. He’s a dipshit.

Hope he gets another pick this year and then flips the ball back to the opponent. It will be worth the penalty.

He has the cash and glad for him. He’s a dipshit if he doesn’t manage it or have someone manage it well to have a plan for beyond the field.

His odds of making it in the NFL were very low. He gambled and it worked out but man I would have been pissed if that had been my kid that blew off school like that. HIs job opportunities without a degree would have been very limited had the NFL not worked out for him. Even so, if for some reason his career ends this year for some reason, he's got issues going forward. He's not vested yet in the NFL pension system and most players don't make it past years. He could get injured/cut this year and never play another down.
