Who knows, maybe one of the Iowa posters will apply.
Ha! I do recruiting at Action, a Waterfield portfolio company. Along with 3886 other things.
Would never hire a Hawkeye. Ph7**( you Hawkeyes!

Looking at the job description, they probably wouldn’t be qualified anyway.Ha! I do recruiting at Action, a Waterfield portfolio company. Along with 3886 other things.

Vince Lombardi could have coached JD, it wouldn't have mattered.
Its useless. People believe playing QB is the same in every offense, and you simply throw it to the open guy.Did he nail your mom or something? Jeez, he wasn't THAT bad. We simply remember him as the QB that took over for a new era of NU football and was involved in the first losing season in forever. He wasn't recruited for the offense. How do you think Heisman winning Eric Crouch would have done in Callahan's offense?
Lord was the best running back we had on that team. That's both a compliment to him and the sad reality of the state of our roster. 3rd and 9? Shotgun, QB draw up the middle.Jammal Lord was a boss. Not quite Frazier, Crouch, or Frost but...With the right talent around him, he could have been very successful.
The way he was treated by Husker fans is one of if not the most disappointing times to call myself a husker fan.
Callahan threw him right under the bus, and duped fans in lust with the WCO were quick to do burnouts all over him. **** Bill Callahan. Cant believe he ever coached here, give me riley over that turd any day.
Jammal Lord was also mistreated by fans but not quite as bad. Hes one of the most underrated unappreciated Huskers ever though.
Both he and Daily seem to be stand up dudes despite their treatment.

I agree regarding Lord. Tough as chit but no short or intermediate passing game.
Dailey ran out of bounds on 4th.... cant forgive that
This. JD was probably pretty comparable to Tommy Armstrong, he was just put in a no-win situation and there was no chance of him reaching his potential. He was the first guy to buy into the Callahan system, started the entire season, and was rewarded by being 4th on the depth chart the following spring. Callahan was too bull headed and ignorant to even make an attempt to adjust his approach for the players he had to work with. Crap, Ryan Shuler had all-conference written all over him and Callahan didn't even know who he was when the kid came into his office after recovering from blood clots.Did he nail your mom or something? Tom would have made Jamaal Lord an all conference QB with his play calling He certainly would have dramatically improved Jamaal's passing efficiency and QB rating. Even Crouch changed Frank's play calls constantly and at times wouldn't even audible. He would just catch the snap and take off because he knew the play called was doomed and he didn't have a viable audible option. That was straight from Crouch. Many of those QB draws weren't a called play according to Crouch. Lord nearly won that Texas game for us almost single handedly until one ill timed turnover.Agreed. Lord was run, run, run and then play action bomb pass. Blame Solich for a lot of that (recruiting, play calling), but sheesh. I tried to forget about Dailey
