Reading about him and watching his highlight reel, you can see why the coaching staff wanted him; versatile slot receiver who can also play the Duck-R role, plus his dad is a coach so he probably understands football really well.

He looks faster than Watts and appears to be a very efficient runner. He does seem to have shiftiness to get separation and gets open.

The WRs we have been getting this last class and this year....if they pan out like they should, we got some serious talent coming in. Assuming Betts gets his ACT score right and makes it....that’s Betts (should be 5 star soon), W Robinson (just missed being 5 star), Houston (4 star on 24/7 and ESPN) , Nance (4 star on Rivals and ESPN), Chase (4 star on 24/7), Hickman (4 star on ESPN) and then Nixon (5.7 3 star on Rivals...borderline 4 star). We got some serious talent coming in at skill positions and that’s not even counting the 3 4 star RBs we signed last recruiting class.

When is Jamar Sekona announcing? He's still listed on 247 Sports as being a heavy Nebraska lean.
Other than that I have no idea who they are really after. I know 1 or 2 2021 targets, like Teddy Prochazka, who are highly rated and definitely guys we want to lock down quickly, but I have no idea who else they are looking at for 2020. I think we hosted 2 running backs, both high 3-stars (one from Florida and one from Oklahoma), but that's about it.
Do we have any info on Nixon's speed? I looked on Hudl but they don't list it anymore.
An article from the other site says he ran a legitimate 4.52 in the 40 yard dash. It doesn't look like he runs track in high school.

Those are the ones I can think of, but there are more. It does seem quiet on the public hype circuit for 2020 recruits, but I’m sure coaches know who they are zeroing in on.
Official game day visits will help us a lot. I also think this staff targets fewer of the “public eye spotlight” characters.

I don't think Sekona plans to decide until fall. Hopefully, on his official with mom.
