UCLA Choked, they couldn’t handle the presser when it counted by losing the only series all year when it counted...

Should be expanded to 12 teams this is 2019 every college championship event has been expanded what is wrong with the NCAA?

My point is people are clamoring to add to the college football playoffs in addition they have over the years added to the March Madness numbers. Do you actually believe that having only 8 teams in the CWS is a fair representation of who deserves to be in Omaha? I don’t therefore I would like to see 12 teams.

Yes I do and you’re off your rocker as usual..

Baseball is about series therefore double elimination tournament..

You can’t compare Baseball to Basketball..

I’m not comparing it I just stated a fact, the amount of money the NCAA is leaving on the table by not expanding the field is ridiculous. I’m sure someone could build another Motel 6 or two in Omaha to handle the crowd. It’s called building the event in the 21st Century.

There is plenty of hotels in Omaha now...

You're not going to spend a dime here in the first place.. Why don’t you ask some of the fans that are here how much their spending for 12 days...

If you had a brain 4 more teams would cost these fans an unbelievable amount of money....

12 isn’t better than 8....Go back to Herky board and discuss rassling tournments.

I'm reluctant to respond to such a slow-witted troll, but the CWS has become way too long already. This used to be a thrilling, double-elimination tournament that was high-energy from start to finish. While it's still a great event, the format changes have robbed the CWS of some of the excitement it used to hold. The last thing it needs is more teams.

The problem with his argument is that he is comparing apples and oranges. The entire division one college football playoff is 4 teams. The college World Series is not the entire NCAA baseball tournament. As was said before, That is the equivalent of having the elite eight or the Sweet 16 be the final weekend of college basketball. Or the college World Series be only the top 8 seeds and no one else gets in. Nothing is the same his argument is ridiculous

You may want to review how the CWS teams are “selected”. Eight teams that make the CWS are not selected. There are 64 teams selected to play in the NCAA tournament each year. You play your way into the CWS. By your line of thinking the Final four which begins as a 64 team field should be recast as the final 8 . I see NCAA baseball is not something you are familiar with.

This is kind of funny because I've talked to plenty of Iowa fans that had no idea the NCAA baseball field was 64 teams, pretty much identical to the NCAA basketball tournament.
