Should I be concerned that we got blanked by K State mid-week pitching and that our team has scored a total of 12 runs over the last 5 games?

We have a big series with Io-a coming up. Although we lead the BiG TeN conference, we’ve played a fairly easy schedule so far.

After the Purdue series our bats have cooled off and now it’s getting a little concerning heading into the Iowa series...

It’s baseball. Things happen.
The concerning part is I’m not sure the huskers have an identity. Are they a power team, small ball, or hit for a high average team??? To consistently score runs you have to excel at something.......

Offense is a rhythm and a mindset. Seeing the ball and having hitters get and stay in what they do well.

This has been in issue with this staff at times, like every other staff in the country. Getting the guys back on track squaring the ball up and getting to hit their pitches is the essential key. Let’s see if the next couple of weeks can get the hot sticks going again.
