No question, Nebraska raised the level of the conference they all now are putting more money in their programs, but Nebraska now has to play in colder weather and recruits are not as easy to lure to Lincoln..
That doesn't make any sense. Are you saying that our baseball coach sucks because we're in a crappy conference?

I think its laughable that you admit the conference is pathetic and then believe Nebraska baseball will ever be nationally relevant again despite its conference affiliation.
Aside from another bizarre set of circumstances where a pitching rotation of Joba Chamberlain, Zach Kroeneke, Brian Duensing, and Johnny Dorn all grow up within 100 miles of Lincoln, Husker baseball has always been and will be relatively marginal in its existence.
Have posted multiple times in the past - the BIG has only had 2 teams make the CWS in the past 34 years. It is a midmajor conference at best. Just like in football and basketball there aren’t many highly rated recruits that are going to make a conscious decision to forego major college baseball to play in a mid major league.
Damn, I hope they can overcome pizzing away games in the late innings. I thought we had that one with runners on 2nd and 3rd in T9. Then we couldn't get out of our own way in B9. Frustrating.

Feel bad for Schanaman to have two strikeouts be uncaught 3rd strikes and then lose the game as a result.
Doesn't change the fact that when Bolt was Erstad's hitting coach, Nebraska was competitive in Big 10 tournament play, and didn't strike out nearly as often as they have the last 5 years. Erstad has pulled two of Nebraska's best recruiting classes in school history in the Big 10, he is completely lost as a hitting coach.
Man, tough to pitch that well in a road series and drop 2 out of 3.
Where did I say nationally relevant? You're just making **** up. They should dominate this crap conference though.
They played a conference game in 19 degree wind chill with flurries today. No legit HS baseball player is going to choose that over LSU.
