Unis and helmets? Besides the Huskers of course I always liked Florida State, Texas A@M, and Michigan. What say you?

Ohio State road uniforms
Michigan
Sooner uniforms from the early 80's, loved the thick mesh with the basic Sooners font and the crimson looked much darker
Washington had great uniforms during the Don James era
Georgia's helmets
LSU
FSU helmet with lots of tomahawks
DONU helmet
North Carolina helmet
Did anyone ever notice in the 1980 Sun Bowl how NU had mismatched uniforms? Some had Nebraska across the chest, others didn't and some had a really weird looking N on the sleeve.

Georgia's are cool. As much as I hate CU I do like their white unis and helmets.
I also like the Nebraska across the chest. That or Huskers would be a cool update.
Mizzou when they were in the Big 8 (12) had very unique helmet with the white, black, gold stripes..

They should make those the permanent helmets. I dont like the yellow helmets at all, but those purple were flat out nice.
No offense here, but I have never seen what people see so special about Penn St helmets and uniforms.. boring and they look like the junior high helmets and uniforms we had in junior high except in red.

The Navy blue stripe on the basic white makes the helmet for me. Love the Navy Blue and white. Looks clean
I'll post a few but lets start with perhaps the most nderrated uniform throught the years, going wayyy back.
Iowa State has always brought it, especially with helmets. Most teams that have that many helmet and uniform variations rarely get it right, while iowa state rarely gets it wrong. It is difficult to have yellow a prominant color without being gawdy, especially with red. You could end up looking like a walking mcdonalds. But ISU usuallydoes well with it, and I feel better than their counterparts ASU and yes, even USC.
They have a lot more. You either love Iowa states uniforms or you hate them.

Stickin with the old big 8, I hate to say it, but Colorado has good uniforms when they dont mess with them, which they have been too much the past five years.

Oregon is known for their current uniform flash, but give me these bright yet basic uniforms of old. Great mascot, stripes, and color contrast. Solid for the lemon lime look. Nice subtle white outline on block lettering and love the helmet stripe.

Another one hard to say....but Penn State has good uniforms. Very simple,but it aint broke. Does what a college unform should. There have to be grass stains, however, otherwise they dont look as good for some reason. Makes em even more traditional.
Also, I believe the current ones have no white collar. I prefer white collar, like these...

As someone mentioned above, the Arizona State Sparky helmet is superior to most cfb helmets and vastly superor to the modern trident, which looks like a trashy tattoo. Why they would ever use helmets different than these, I do not know. Man will be stupid, and this is proof.
Florida has been trying to screw things up, and often succeeding, in recent years...but their standard blue on white home uniforms with the orange helmet and "gators" script is just excellent. Perfect stripe on helmet, pads, and pants. Great tone of blue and orange, and that gator patch mascot...its just good and original.
This uniform is traditional with some flash but isnt off putting.

Misery currently has perhaps the worst uniforms/mascot logo/field design in all of college football. I cant stand it for some reason. It did used to be better, especially the tiger mascot, but they were worst in big 8.
Mizzou’s were hardly the worst in the Big 8 days...like I said they had unique helmets during those years..
