It's unfortunate this article is behind the OWH pay wall as I feel this have so much educational value to those unfamiliar with flood management and would be of great value for the public at large to read.

So you're kind of an electronic corner newspaper vendor? Just kidding! I think you are right, good time for any useful information along that line.

Ha, yeah, I post a few articles that are behind a pay wall. However, I feel like this particular one shouldn't be behind the pay wall as a community knowledge exercise. Some very good educational information in there.

But OWH has their business interests in mind with what they put behind the pay wall and what they don't.

I live very close to Lake Zorinsky. There’s a lot of ground around me that would be under water if that wasn’t built.

I get things aren't free, but what gets me is that it has to be way cheaper to go digital vs an actual paper and distribution. But the price is virtually the same regardless.

I'd be a full time subscriber at the right price. I jumped on their cheap rate last year so I currently have a digital subscription

Newspapers want hard-copy subscribers because that's where so many of the advertising dollars are still anchored. Problem is, their own website and about 1000 others have already delivered the content by the time it lands in your driveway.
