Good hands at the end by Borchardt. He's been very solid on D today, considering the physical mismatch.

This is both great and depressing at the same time. Where was this the last half of the season.

Here's to hoping their legs hold up in the second half.

It is not unusual to see a lower seeded team that played the day before pull an upset like this. The underdog is at ‘game-speed’ while the favorite might not quite be ready to play.

It’s the 3rd day where the underdog hits the wall.

I feel like you might be exaggerating.
A little. :D

Still, I’ve seen Palmer flex and/or talk trash many times this season while we were getting our *** kicked. Not a big deal IMO.

Also, our football team loved to talk while down 2 scores as well, and it never bothered me.

I'm not making excuses - just saying that when you lose a star player, and begin to lose hope of the great season that was supposed to be... it isn't out of the question

Except only 1 13 seed has ever made the B1G quarterfinals.

No...that can't be. Jays fans always tell me how amazing they are and how they are always in the dance...
I think they still would have needed to win tomorrow to get in. But a loss today leaves no doubt. Didn't watch much of their game, but looked like they got killed on the boards. Jays need to bring in a strong rebounder next year to be an NCAA team. Otherwise their roster is pretty solid.

Fernando whining to the officials during the timeout because, you know, he never gets a break from the refs.

Takes after his whiny-*** coach.

JPJ playing like a lottery pick today and therein lies the trouble with Tim Miles, his teams success is often totally dependent on hoping a guy takes a game over. In 7 years we've had 2 guys that have been able to do that, it's great the few times it works and you can ride hot streaks to a lot of success. When that guys disappears though, well that's how you lose 7 games in a row.
