I was just thinking that going into the spring, I hoped to read encouraging news about the pass rush since it was lacking last year, the secondary since we lost some experienced safeties, and the interior OL since Farmer and Foster graduated.

I've heard good things about some of the young DBs, and about the OL, but just generic comments about the pass rush.

I was hoping to hear that Tannor and Alston, Dixon, and maybe Q Alexander were tearing it up. I dont think the sky is falling or anything like that, but I'm hoping for some improvement this season from the OLBs.

Thoughts?

Probably early for that. Might hear more after a scrimmage. But even the spring game will be pretty controlled and hard to tell.

They've already been going live and supposedly the D has been getting more pressure and disrupting the passing game. I'm assuming that's against the lower units.

Could be. But as in any"green jersey" situation, really hard to tell. I assume werew going to be a lot better. Big disappointment if not

Tannor has been held out of practice with an injury

Tannor is injured

Alston is still developing

Dixon is a situational player/tweener

Q is well...

Alex Davis, tearing it up yet? Him and D. Neal have the physical measurables .

Actually, I have been told A Davis is having a good Spring thus far

Have not heard anything about Daishon (might be fighting injuries again... wondering if he is one of those guys whose body just can't handle to load he is carrying)

Nothing that comes out of camp is worth any salt...it is NU vs. NU....if a unit is particularly strong it is because the other unit is weak...time and time and time again we hear that our oline is improved, or our pass rush is better, or our running game will be dominant again and then we find our dline is a sieve or our oline lets our dline break through...

Waaaaaay too early for the sky is falling stuff. Wait a few days, man.

In all seriousness, I really expect Breon Dixon to have a big year and deliver on the hype.
We're overdue for Terrell Farley part deux.

I don’t think we know for sure until it’s third and long in game and we get off the field consistently.

Dixon is really a 4-3 SAM Linebacker and doesn't really fit this defense. His off the field activities are also limiting the trust from his Coaches. I do think he will be a decent special teams player.

Quayshon has never been able to overcome injuries.

From the little bits of info I have seen. The overall theme is the D is getting the better of the offense. Haven't heard much on getting pressure on QB. Am hearing lots of picks and causing more fumbles. So I don't know if that is a sign our D is drastically better or that our offense has taken a step back.

Lavonte David says hello, but I'd gladly take part 3...I just don't know the french for "3".
