Fant is an athletic freak out there, but his hands have bit to be desired. Hock is the complete package, but I'm not sure either will surpass George Kittle's production in the NFL. Kittle ran a 4.52, catches everything, and blocks amongst the best in the NFL. Iowa does have a machine built to produce them, though.

I still question Ferentz Jr why Iowa offense wasn’t better scoring offense especially when you had Fant for miss matches and not having both on the field enough at the end of the season..

An athletic freak that his head coach rarely used in the offense last season.

Penn State and Wisconsin has 7 there. Iowa has 4. Need to have 4-7 guys there to compete with the big boys once again.

Seeing how good Frost is recruiting, I’m more then confident that will change. The biggest thing was our starting players were all freshman, Sophomores and some juniors, sprinkled in with a few seniors. We had a VERY young team. We all know Ozigbo should have been there. No clue how he got left out. Maybe the NFL guys already see what he can bring and don’t need to see the measurablities??

OSU has 10 guys at combine today. NU...1. Need to close that talent and speed gap by half at least.
NU needs to actually develop football players and *WIN* football games. Talent itself is meaningless without actually taking football recruits, turning them into football players, and winning football games.
USC only has 5 players at the combine, despite having the 1st, 10th, 6th, and 3rd ranked recruiting classes the previous 4 recruiting cycles. Kentucky, Wisconsin, Utah, Boston College, Missouri, NC State, and West Virginia all have more players at the combine than USC and none of them are even in the same universe as talent as USC. However, they won football games unlike USC did this year.

They scored over 30 ppg on offense. Some weird breaks in their losses. NW game was the only true inexplicable.

Pretty tough when you have to split time with two 1st round talents & still show that kind of production. I'm sure they would've loved to mix in a top tier RB to the equation, but it just didn't work out that way. Help is on the way across the board.

Why did someone have to mention Fant in this thread? It was like an invitation for this nut case to start posting his garbage.

It's not garbage if there is no solid response. There is absolutely no way Noah would be in the position he is in without BF's tutelage. Second most productive TE on the team & still a 1st round talent. Incredible.

Don't be salty about it, do better if you don't like.

Know this - Iowa isn't going anywhere & the only question remaining is if one of the sides can keep up.

You are correct Iowa isn’t going anywhere... haven’t went any where in a very long time... not sure why you had the urge to let us know that... and yes before you decide to try and say you’ve went to more then Nebraska yea we know we haven’t been the good ol Nebraska of old for a while now, but that tide is changing and Nebraska will be going places

"Iowa isn't going anywhere." Finally, you're right about something. Too bad it was unintentional. Have fun in 8-5Land.

Take away the 3 TD’s the defense scored during the season and Iowa avg a little over 29 points a game..
