We are in a blizzard warning. Thunder snow, ice, 50 mph winds, heavy wet snow. Power outages supposed to start at noon. Should be a real **** show. Is it spring yet??:(

Omaha could be worse with 6+...Only problem this time besides the strong wind in the wet snow that could bring down power lines...

Would hate to be driving from Lincoln back to Omaha after 3:00 pm..

Usually when the weatherman starts talking about a storm a week before its arrival usually is a nothing, only thing that they usually get right is the wind is going to blow

Of course temps are going to go up in the last 100 years. Cars, planes, methane from
cattle. More Carbon dioxide in the air. And it's gone up 1 or 2 degrees last 100 years?? Only normal.

And some people want more government. I realize one of these does not a wide spread problem make but anyone who thinks this is unusual is kidding themselves.

That and it rained yesterday so when all is said and done a good layer of ice will be under any snow..

Global warming was/is a giant money grab but has anyone noticed how in the last year they have changed the wording to climate change. This opens the fight up to any and all climate change. It's getting very interesting.

well since 1871 or whenever they started keeping track, this winter OMAHA will have the most snow amount ever for December - February if we get what they think tonight......so there is that! - in '83 we must have gotten it all on mornings of 6am basketball practices is all I know.

1975 was the biggest blizzard I can remember... Had Basketball practice before classes started and by the time we reached our home room they told everyone we’re going home..

At least not this frequency. Ever.

Its easy to understand, for petes sake. Just dont study or know any history at all and maybe you'll then be smart enough to understand the problem.
