I think we are glossing over the important facts of this situation. If Harbaugh wanted him in this class, UM would allow him admission. This is a smoke screen. Don't let anyone convince you that every recruit signed by Michigan has a 3.5 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Schools like Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Notre Dame, and USC do have very high admission requirements. But they are defensively waiving those requirements for elite student athletes.
Hell, even Stanford, Duke, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern lower their standards to some extent for Student athletes.
The kid should've seen the issue back on the first national signing day. UMs reasoning was bogus. Are we supposed to believe Rashan Gary, Devin Bush, and Jabril Peppers were all academic wunderkinds?
Harbaugh has dicked this kid over. And he's done it numerous times. Don't take a kids commitment if you don't think he can play for you.
