Take the players' names off the back of their jerseys. They play for Nebraska...not for themselves. They play for the university, the team and the fans. Until they play together as a team who won't quit; no perks, no special recognition and they run suicides / gassers till they learn their lesson. After practice, they shoot friggin free throws until they each make one hundred no matter how many attempts it takes. After each member of the team has made their hundred, then the team can leave.

Yeah! And then they should all wear bags over their heads that just have an N on them because they don't have a face, they're just Nebraska!

Then they should have to carry a prominent booster around campus on their backs when they walk to class so they can remember where all their nice stuff REALLY comes from!

Then after that, they should go through the entire BUDS program where they train and weed out Navy SEAL candidates because...I dunno...team or something.

Then after that, we should all line up to punch them like in that movie Unbroken or whatever it was called and if anyone won't punch them, we shoot a cheerleader at a time until they're like, "OK I'll punch them!"

AND THEN after that, they should all have to walk into Miles's office and lay their jersey on his desk and be like, "I want Rudy to have my spot, coach."

Whenever they sub, I want the people subbing in and out to kiss each other on the mouth as they go by to show that they are for each other and for the TEAM

I agree something needs to change with this team. You are probably on the right track. Im getting the similar sense what was going on with the football program under Riley is going on with Miles. I don't know if it to that extent, but Im guessing it is a matter of kids running the show and not taking Miles seriously.

I think we should all gather at a local church and hold a referendum on whether Miles should remain as coach. Just as he's about to lose that vote, Jimmy Chitwood will come out of retirement and lead the Huskers to the Final Four.

I know we like to laugh at Fran the Volcano over in Iowa City, but right now he’s in the hunt for Big Ten COY.

Fran the Volcano... nice.

He must think he is required by contract to play 4 white guys including his son at all times

I actually look at Fran as kind of an old-school guy who waits for his team to get hosed and then goes ballistic. Whereas the coaches like Izzo, Turgeon, Roy Williams, Sean Miller - they start bitching from the opening tip. So they rarely get T’d up because it’s their normal behavior.

Tim called his team soft and says he kind of regrets going easy on them.

Not sure this is going to end well.
Good old Tim has gone easy on his teams in the past. It never goes well to start easy and try to get tough later. Too bad for Tim that has can't seem to learn that lesson.

I'm trying not to knock Watson to much since he is a good player, but he's really not the typical point guard he doesn't do a very good job of setting up the offense and not good at distributing the ball. Of course miles has no offense scheme

What was doc Sadlers record at Nebraska? I thought he had a pathetic offense, but he couldn't recruit at least miles has recruited some talent, just don't know how to coach them
