I did hear the OTHER Rex(Ryan) throw a bit of shade on him yesterday...."he was the 3rd string back for the BENGALS!!!"

Rex had a good game, and he certainly made some big plays when they needed him.

People just don't like dynasties. Unless it's their own team, of course. It's not much fun seeing the Patriots and the Crimson Tide in the championship every year. So I can be proud of the two high profile Huskers playing the the Superbowl, but can still not be so thrilled their teams made it.

I didn’t hear the quote so I don’t know the context, but are you sure he wasn’t throwing shade at the Bengals?

Didn’t care about the game so only watched the last quarter, but Rex looked mighty good to my old eyes. Maybe not a burner but he really hits the small holes and hangs onto the ball. What more can you want?

I think Bill trusts him to not fumble the football, and he's sneaky small/powerful between the tackles and in goalline scenarios.
