This snow sucks!! Used tractor for awhile then I polished up with a atv 4 wheeler with blade since my tractor doesn't have front wheel assist real easy to get stuckNo problem. I already shoveled the 6 inches here in Lincoln. Now it's relax and football time. Lol. Enjoy shoveling brotherWinking
Remember when mike Rucker destroyed joe Gordon from kst on a punt return, that was great, he'd have been tossed in today's game and the punt return would have been called backThese days Dumas probably would have gotten ejected for targeting on that hit.
Real heavy and wet. Pain in the *** snow. This snow sucks!! Used tractor for awhile then I polished up with a atv 4 wheeler with blade since my tractor doesn't have front wheel assist real easy to get stuck
I'm a little older than you, but not much, I was 10, almost 11 when we beat Miami to win the NC. I was always a Husker fan, but prior to that game, I don't have a ton of memories. Mostly before that I remember Calvin Jones and losing to Miami and Florida State in 92 and 93 Orange Bowl. Some of that is probably because this was before every game was on TV, and I didn't spend much time at that age sitting and listening to games on the radio. I remember the 94 Orange Bowl pretty well, and honestly think that game is what ruined me when it comes to officiating.I'm a bit younger than you two. 1994 was the first title I was alive for, only 8 at the time. My first lasting football memory was Boston College hitting the FG in 1993 to beat Notre Dame (which I was told had major implications for Nebraska but didn't make sense to me at the time), then the 1994 OB against Florida State. I was hooked after that, and the 1994 season was a tremendous whirlwind in general, let alone for the first time paying attention to the team. I was spoiled in that my earliest Husker football memories are those of success, even if the FSU game was technically a loss but very impressive.
I know there is a poster on here that has uploaded a ton of old games to YouTube, and to him I owe a sincere thank you. It is great being able to watch entire games from before I was cognizant (or alive) to understand the context of our 1990s success (rather than just seeing highlights).
Yep, felt the same way with the 1996 Arizona State game. I think it started at like 9pm CDT, and I fell asleep around halftime at my aunt's house (she had cable, my parents didn't). We also recorded it on VHS. When I got up in the morning, my aunt told me it didn't get any better and asked me if I wanted to finish watching the game. I said of course I wanted to finish watching, and saw Turman get inserted late in the game and Green fumble deep in ASU territory, staying on the ground and crying in frustration.I'm a little older than you, but not much, I was 10, almost 11 when we beat Miami to win the NC. The 95 Orange Bowl I remember very well, and being the first NC in my lifetime, holds a special place for me. As fun as destroying Florida the next year was to watch, the 95 Orange Bowl will probably always be my favorite since it was my first.
Talking about being spoiled with winning, since I really started paying a little more attention after that first NC; I remember listening to the Arizona State game in 96 and just being shocked that something like that could even happen. Then after that, I remember in the 98 season, I just pretty much took for granted we were going to win games; and didn't even pay that close attention to some of them, and being quite upset to find out we lost to Texas A&M.
How fast could you move with it today? This snow storm really pushed my Toro Snowblower because it was so wet. However, it performed like a champion...best purchase I have made in years. Of course there have been 3 or 4 years I didn’t use it because it didn’t snow enough. Winking

No kidding, I had to dig out my tractor got high centered I used a smaller shovel was to bad but still pissed me off, the snow just bunched up wouldn't flow through the blade. I just have a 2 wheel drive older acreage tractor. I really need to go get bigger 4 wheel drive tractor with loader and blade. But I have this at my place and the other is 7 miles away. Definitely will next timeNot real fast. I had to take 1/2 wide strips down the driveway and had to push a little more than normal but it beats shoveling.
